Grand Kahala is a large 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom house with air conditioning and many other comforts. It is located just across from the beach and a couple of blocks to the Kahala Resort & Hotel. This two-story house has marble floors, beautiful dual staircases and modern furnishings. Enjoy the free form swimming pool with waterfall in the back with gas BBQ or the play in large front yard. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their vacation.

Situated across the street from Kahala Beach near Diamond Head on the south shore of Oahu, only 3 miles from Waikiki, in one of the most exclusive residential areas in all of Hawaii. It is a gracious neighborhood with a mixture of older, 'kamaaina' homes and newer estate properties. At the east end of the beach are the Kahala Hotel and the Waialae Country Club, home of the Sony Open. Nearby Kahala Mall contains restaurants, theaters, a grocery store, a department store and a variety of specialty shops.

nice house, few mishaps

the home is lovely and well suited to big families. the location was very central for many activities. the beach is close by, but not really a swimming beach. luckily, there are many nice swimming beaches a short drive away.

we had a few maintenance issues which i felt could have been handled better or fixed before we arrived. they were resolved in a timely manner, but still fell short of expectation.
