Tried and True, Exactly as we Expected!

The prperty was very nice, clean and great views of the Harbor as well as the Atlantis main towers. Quick walk thru the Million Dollar Yachts to the Village for Restaurants and shopping. The amenities were detailed and perfectly prepared. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Harbor side resort.
2 items of concern though:
1. We had requested an early check in, due to our overnight flight and a 22 month old baby, we needed to check in upon our arrival. This request was relayed o ALL parties right from the Get-Go, unfortunately, they did NOT accommodate such a reasonable request. We arrived at 11 am, and were NOT in our condo til 2:15 in the afternoon. A major inconvenience!!!
2. The resort, and ALL its grounds are absolutely amazing, though, they did not accommodate any/all Handicap nor strollers for children. Almost all of the stairs do not have ramps built in or around. You are forced to pick up the strollers and there are way too many stairs to be able to comply over a 2 week vacation period. Atlantis management should consider resolving this matter IMMEDIATELY to accommodate Handicap and children's stroller.
Otherwise, we would most certainly revisit and recommend this resort to ALL friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the great review. Atlantis is truly amazing and we believe Harborside is the best value for accomodations.
Very sorry that the resort could not accomodate the request for early check-in. Normal check-in is 4 PM so 2 PM was a bit earlier than usual but I can see where having a 2 year old to contend with for 3 hours would be a problem.
Regarding the handicap access. Although, Harborside has handicap accessible units - the Atlantis overall is not handicap accessible. Although the majority of the property is accessible through paths without steps - there is always some steps to negotiate to enter and exit the property. We will pass your comments on this on to Atlantis and Satrwood International. I hope this is an issue they are considering addressing.
