Cabarete East occupies approximately 2.75 acres on a pristine beach in one of the most beautiful and desirable areas on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Our resort consists of luxurious oceanfront condominiums with spectacular beach and ocean views in tropical surroundings. It is the newest and most relaxing place in Cabarete to spend your holiday!!! Our spacious units are beautifully decorated with high-quality furniture and each have a balcony, kitchen, private bedrooms and bathrooms. We are located just outside the delightful bayside town of Cabarete (a world renown tourist destination). Downtown Cabarete is 1.3 kilometers away (less than 1 mile). One can walk, either by beach or by road and find themselves immersed in a sports enthusiast's dream. For the less active, there is a relaxing atmosphere of casual shopping, or beachside dining under the palms. Cabarete is only 15 km away from the international airport of Puerto Plata.

beautiful, serene, and all inclusive

Normally I am very active on vacation but this week I had work to do and was completely able to do it in this low key environment. The facilities were beautiful, the apartments were gorgeous (as convenient as being at home), and the restaurant was reasonably priced good food. The balcony made the place, it was so perfect to be able to sit and work on the wireless while being outside. It is certainly possible to spend all of your time within this complex. The only drawbacks were: not a great swimming beach (the water in Cabarete is rough but not deadly, this of course is why kite boarding is so popular). It is also not the white sand in all the photos of DR. And secondly, the drving in DR is a little intimidating for those not used to it (even by my NYC standards), so we didn't rent a car and our mobility was more limited than it would have been otherwise. Good thing being at the complex was so nice! Didn't try kite boarding, but hear it's very fun.
