Ski / storage room in entry:
Skiers and hikers will find the front entry ski / storage room to be a convenient place to stow skis, boots, and equipment. It's fully heated in winter and has shelves for boots, hangers for skis, and plenty of room to store backpacks and hang coats and jackets.
Other good stuff:
In addition to high-speed internet, there's a fax machine and printer available for your use; an upright piano to plunk away on; a star-gazing telescope for clear Colorado nights; and interior furnishings that include some sturdy 'period' pieces from the late 1800s when Crested Butte was established.
Ski:
This base area is a 10-12 minute ride away on the free Shuttle Bus that arrives and departs every 15 minutes just 1/2 block form the house. It's very convenient and dependable.
Golf:
There's a beautiful golf course on the edge of town: The Club at Crested Butte. This Robert Trent Jones II Championship Golf Course was proclaimed by Mountain Golf Magazine to be '... one of the finest golf courses in the mountains, if not the entire country.'
