A 30 minute drive to Hilo, the island capital, for swimming, shopping, tours, etc.
Fun Hilo Town with eclectic new and old shops. Check out the Kuhio Grill at the back of the Walmart shopping center.
Sit & enjoy a meal at Cafe Pesto while taking in the beautiful Hilo Bay Scene.
Visit the Mauna loa Macadamia nut farm, and experience the tour to see one of the islands biggest exports.
Shop at the famous Hilo Farmers Market. Enjoy the fresh local produce, artists and tropical flowers.
Visit the local zoo to enjoy the animals. Take a drive to see the 'Rainbow Waterfalls' or the 'Boiling Pots'.
