Relax at our vacation rental house on top of Kilaeua Volcano. Hale Aloha is a newly remodeled home in the artist area of Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are approximately 2 miles from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park the easiest place in the world to view active lava flows. Loose yourself in the lush tropical environment of Volcano Village. The house sits on 1/2 acre of tropical forest featuring wild orchids, ferns, Ohia trees, Bromeliads to name a few. The house features all new appliances, full cable TV, entertainment system & wireless high speed DSL for those folks wishing to stay connected to the outside world. Come & stay awhile to replenish your soul. The house has full laundry facilities available for the guest to use.

The mornings are usually bright and sunny, the evenings cool and misty. Shop at our local organic farmers market every Sunday morning. Hiking & Lava viewing at the nearby Volcanoes National Park. Hike across the floor of Kilauea-Iki crater or hike out to Halema'u ma'u, home of the fire goddess Pele. Plan ahead for the experience of a lifetime & night viewing of the lava. Please contact the Park for conditions Golf at the only place in the world to play on top of an active volcano at the Volcano Golf & Country Club 18-hole course. 25 min drive to Punalu'u Black Sand Beach. 45 min drive to South Point & the Green Sand Beach ( 4wd Recommended). 30 minutes to historic Hilo with shops

Historic Hilo Town: A 30 minute drive to Hilo, the island capital, for swimming, shopping, tours, etc. Fun Hilo Town with eclectic new and old shops. Check out the Kuhio Grill at the back of the Walmart shopping center. Sit & enjoy a meal at Cafe Pesto while taking in the beautiful Hilo Bay Scene. Visit the Mauna loa Macadamia nut farm, and experience the tour to see one of the islands biggest exports. Shop at the famous Hilo Farmers Market.
