This fabulous mountain front home is ideal for large gatherings. The town of Cedar Crest is a scenic community filled with breathtaking views located approximately 8 miles east of Albuquerque and 50 miles south of Santa Fe. For the person who loves outdoors, partake in a game of tennis, hike and/or bike the local trails. If you enjoy golf, take advantage of the opportunity to adventure one of the world’s renowned courses…the Paa-Ko Ridge golf course. Ranked as one of the top courses in the country, the Paa-Ko Ridge golf course is located just 5 miles north of the property. During the winter season, explore the Sandia Ski Area, with ski lessons for all ages conveniently located about 10 miles north of the retreat. Ultimately, you’re not too far from the city, where you can visit the local casinos, fine dining, and tons of live theatre. You’ll be conveniently positioned about a half mile from all of your needs (grocery store, video rental, gas station, restaurants, banks, ATMs, etc)

This mountain retreat is nestled in the Cibola National Forest. A primarily wooded scene, it provides the best of both worlds. It’s a nice 2,900 square foot home with a bottom floor complete with 2 bedrooms, a living area and a full bathroom ideal for in-laws, kids, and/or family entertaining. The bottom level has one of several entrances to the wrap-around decking, great for barbecues, and peaceful relaxation. The top level has 3 spacious bedrooms including a master suite with a jetted tub. The open floor plan enables for great interaction while cooking, dining or lounging. A private entrance leads out to the upper deck with an awning that can be used all year round. Have a cup of coffee, tea or your favorite latte on the deck and put your cares at ease or invite the entire family for a feast with spectacular scenery. If this is a get-a-way for two, have a candlelight dinner and enjoy the view of moonlight and/or gaze at the stars for hours on end.

Scenic drives and Casino: Enjoy sight-seeing and antique shopping in the neighboring towns of Madrid, Golden and on through Santa Fe. Directions: Head north on Hwy 14 Casino - head south on Hwy 14 until you reach I-40 and head west into Albuquerque. Take the Tramway (167) exit and head North until you approach the Casino (15 miles). College sports - University of New Mexico Lobos, contact us for more information! Dining and Theatre - will provide literature upon request!

Ski: The Sandia Ski Area is not far from the retreat. Head north on Hwy 14 for about 3 miles, head west on Frost Rd and follow the signs to the Ski Area.

Golf: Paa-ko Ridge Golf course rated the # 1 golf course in New Mexico. Head north on Hwy 14 for about 6-7 miles. Golf course will be on your left (West)

Fabulous spacious home in a beautiful location!

We brought in a large group to stay at this vacation home and had a wonderful time! The house is very spacious and the owners were very accomodating to our large group. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, and there were unexpected extras. The large living room fit everyone and was very cozy, and everyone had a great time with the fun games in the basement. The house is an easy drive from Albuquerque. The view from the huge balcony was awesome -- beautiful mountain retreat!! We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a weekend or extended getaway!!

Very Pleasant Stay!

It was a pleasant and memorable vacation, helped in large part by the rental home. The views are beautiful, and there was more than enough room for four adults and one baby. Some of the furniture was a little old, and a couple of the beds were not as comfortable as we might like. But everything was clean and perfectly acceptable. And the savings, when compared to the cost of three decent hotel rooms in Albuquerque, were significant. Also helpful were the grocery store and restaurants, all a short drive away. We would definitely stay again!

Very Enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. This proved to be a good choice for a family of 8-10 people looking to spread out a bit and have a place to share meals. The location was nice and at the end of a cul-de-sac with a good view, and the house, while dated, was clean and in good condition. The owners were courteous and easy to deal with on the phone. The location gives you good access to Albquerque, but also to the Sandia mountains and the scenic road to Santa Fe. Overall, we would stay here again if we visit the area next year.

A True Serene Getaway

This was the ultimate vacation getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the city. There were 10 of us and the condo was very spacious, you weren't stepping on everyone's toes like you would in a motel. The weather was warm in the afternoon but by evening it was perfect for relaxing out on the deck watching the sunset with no mosquitos to fight off. Just perfect for relaxing in a quiet serene setting after a long day. I would and will recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the Albuquerque area. We loved and enjoyed the stay here and weren't ready to leave but duty always calls. Thank you Calvin for allowing us to stay at your perfect getaway, it is one we will never forget.

Great house

This house was every thing that was said about it
lots of room close to food stores.

Owner was great did ever thing he said in contract.
when we could not find street called owner got us right there.
Calvin is a great owner

House was very clean.

only problem was weather was not the best but that is not the owners problem.

If I go back to ABQ will be staying there again.

very good bag for the dollar
