Perched above a secluded Bay on Tortola’s North coast and situated amongst large boulders and mature trees, is the uniquely idyllic retreat of “Kerensa” This recently completed house is built on a private 2 acre estate bordering Mount Healthy National Park. It was carefully designed to have minimal impact on the beautiful natural setting and take full advantage of the stunning panoramic views over the North Shore. Far away from other houses, the only sounds you’ll hear are the waves on the rocks below.... By combining colourful Caribbean style with quirky antiques and flea market finds from Europe the owners have created an aesthetic, highly individual dwelling that delightfully complements the spectacular location. The house is simple, comfortable and well equipped with accommodation consisting of one bedroom, a bathroom, dining area and a kitchen / living room together with a covered veranda, a brick courtyard and wooden decks around an infinity pool and separate hot tub area.

secluded perfect getaway

Kerensa was everything we had hoped for - secluded yet close to shopping, diving, dinning. The villa was well maintained, and if a few mosquitos dont bother you, then this airy, open getaway is perfect. We loved our private pool and jacuzzi, and the kitchen was more than adequate to spend some evenings in, enjoying the sunset from the deck (the view from the house, by the way, was the best part of our vacation!). Diving in Tortola is some of the best we have ever enjoyed - healthy reefs, lots of fish, and great service thanks to sail carribean divers. We will be back. Thanks Kerensa!

Romance you will never forget....

The Kerensa House is a remarkable piece of property. In my personal opinion this house is best for a couple who want peace, views and romance. From the moment you walk down the steps to the first time you step in the infinity edge pool you will know you hit paradise! There is nothing better than being able to wake up and go to sleep without closing any doors or windows! Not to mention the views and sounds! There is a surround sound system, so make sure to bring some music you enjoy. Also, we found that cooking and hanging out within the home was the best for us. There is a local grocery store who will be happy to deliver your food to you or you can drive there and do the shopping yourself.
The nights are cool and the days are sunny. There is Brewers Bay a few minutes down the road and close to the rocks is the best snorkeling!
Kerensa is kept up very well and the owners are delightful!

Rainbows, warm breezes and plentiful sunshine await visitors to this Villa on Tortola. Kerensa is located in a remote and secluded area where the only sounds you will hear are the waves below and the birds in the tree tops. The location is also a great spot to explore the island from and take daytrips to Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. The villa is clean and well maintained with a lovely pergola to sit and watch the amazing sunsets. The salt-water pool is a great way to cool off after basking in the sun and the hot tub at the top of a set of stone stairs is a nice way to end the day. The owner will make arrangements to meet you and guide you in. A 4 x 4 SUV is a must. Visit Cane Garden Bay for a relaxing day on the beach and dine in any of the beachside restaurants along the road. Palm's Delight and the more upscale Sugar Mill are excellent. The Sky Bar is also a must do. Go for the view at sunset but stay for the food. There are plenty of snorkling beaches that offer calm waters and reefs very close to shore with Brewer's Bay and Smuggler's offering the best snorkling we found. Visit Sage Mountain for a short but scenic hike. It's the highest point in the USVI and the BVI. I highly recommend Kerensa for it's peace and quiet. It truly is a slice of paradise.
