Log home sets on 15 acres, private, mountains 360 degrees around cabin, lake view on deck, lights of Angelfire and Eaglenest can be seen at night front front deck, 10 acres for horses at a low cost to board. Lots of parking for RVs, buses, large trucks. Close to restaurants and stores. skiing slopes close by, kitchen fully stocked , washer, dryer, towels and bedding provided. Dish TV, DVD , VCR, family room, master bedroom. TVs up stairs blk wht. Soap is there, BBQ pitt on front deck with two picnic tables. Cooking tools for BBQ. Well lighted, outside and inside, you can touch the stars, sunset over mountains, moon setting over the mountains. Breathtaking, fishing, hunting, skiing, sledding, hiking, fun fun fun!

A little piece of heaven on earth

I had the pleasure of staying here with my sweetheart and some of her family for apx a month and a half and experienced one of the best vacations I have ever had. The cowboy town in the back is loads of fun, with tons of room to wander about, playing with local horses and enjoying the amazing views from every direction. I enjoyed reading outside, waking in the mornings and having hot tea on the large porch, taking in the phenomenal views. It was so much fun to drive through The Pass to Taos and to come back the same way to visit the little town of Eagle Nest to rent movies and grab a cold drink. The log cabin is amazing and filled with charm, and I cannot go on enough about the incredible views from the home. The entire front of the house, and sides, are made almost completely of windows, so there isn't a bad view in the house. It is so cozy and spacious. Each morning that I woke I just couldn't believe how beautiful it was, and to walk out onto the porch and enjoy some hot tea for breakfast was so serene and spiritual. This is an incredible place to stay for any pilgrim on a journey. The mountains are mesmerizing. The owner is very nice and down to earth, and the house is enormous and a great value for the price. I felt blessed to be able to stay here. Simply stunning beauty all around.

This is a cozy warm place for families and extended families. We loved staying here. It had everything we needed and more. We particulary enjoyed having the laundry facilities when we returned from snowmobiling wet and to tired to go to a laundry mat. The people in the town were warm and friendly and the shoping was great!!!
