'La Residence du Pont des Arts - 1st floor' is located in the very heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés (6th district) at the corner of rue Mazarine and rue Guénégaud : definitely the best place to stay in Paris. The Studio, 20m2 (215 square foot), is fully equipped for one or two people looking for a perfect location and an economic budget. TV with cable and international channels (include CNN, BBC, etc), broadband Internet (WIFI and Ethernet), cooking accessories in a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, hot plates, refrigerator/freezer, etc.) will make you feel at home. There, you will reside in the center of Paris a few meters away from the Seine river, the Orsay museum and only 10 minutes walk from the glass pyramid - entrance of the Louvre museum. Ideal to walk your way around Paris without wasting time in transports ! Central and easily accessible with public transports (underground line 4, 10 or 12 and RER, only 5 minutes walk to the apartment), the area is full of restaurants, bars and cafés to live like true Parisians. To buy your groceries, you will find a big supermarket (300 meters away) open 7D/7 until 11pm, several bakeries (200 meters away), several good wine shops but also the massive Saint-Germain market (500 meters away) along with the famous Ladurée store where you will taste wonderful macaroons.

I will email you a lease contract of short term rental. 4. You will print, sign and mail it back with a security deposit of 300 dollars (or equivalence into your national devise - all currencies are agreed !). If you book a flat more than 6 months in advance, please date the check 5 months prior your arrival day. I would not bank that money and will refund it back to you when you will check-out. 5. You will pay the whole amount of location with cash or travellers cheque in EUROS at the check-in.

Payment & check-in:: l will meet you at the apartment to give you the keys and to provide you with all the instructions concerning the accommodation and area facilities. We ask for payment in full at the check-in.

Needed a private, clean, comfortable, place to stay for a weekend in Paris. This pied-à-terre was perfect for our needs. Location was key, for a number of reasons.

We took the ICE train from Germany, arriving at Gare d'est. From the train station, we hopped the metro, exiting at Odeon,,The apartment was a 10 minute walk from the Odeon metro stop.

Easy to walk to the Seine, area cafes and markets. I suggest purchasing Batobus tickets to get around on the water. And, there is so much to see and do in the St. Germain area.

Booking the apartment and communicating with the owner - Vlad - was a breeze. He was prompt in his reply and made the transaction painless. The photos and description are accurate. I would stay here again.
