The Bunkhouse at Liberty Haven Ranch is a private, quiet, desert hideout with all the modern comforts. Not really a bed and breakfast, not quite a guest ranch, but a place you can decompress, unwind, and enjoy our fantastic Arizona climate. Take a hike or a trail ride; lounge in our heated pool; pick breakfast from our orchard; tune up your shooting skills; see the stars as clearly as our gold-prospecting ancestors did 120 years ago. Our private estate adjoins tens of thousands of acres of undeveloped hunting lands, mineral claims, and riding trails. You are our sole house guests in a modern two-bedroom, two bathroom home, fully-equipped and furnished with everything but your own groceries and wardrobe. Wickenburg is quite possibly America's most authentic modern cowboy town. Around these parts, we don't act out the old West -- we live it. With everyday working cowboys in a town still boasting more horses than sedans, Wickenburg offers numerous traditional Western pursuits, whether equestrian, artistic, mercantile, or culinary. Modern-day solo prospectors still dot our area hills, bringing home dust and nuggets (1.5-pound beauty found outside our Ranch as recently as 2004!) While the Wickenburg area has embraced the benefits of cell phones and high-speed internet, we still retaini our clean air, low traffic, virgin deserts, 4WD adventure trails, gorgeous scenery, and genuine Western hospitality.

Just wanted to say thank you for an amazing stay at your beautiful home. Not only were tha accommodations great but so was the view. You are a lovely family and I enjoyed your company and conversation as well. The trail ride through the desert was a peaceful, beautiful time. I hope we will be able to stay again in September. VERY HOT!!!! But LOTS of fun. We hiked. We treasure hunted. We used our metal detectors. We shot our guns. We played games and did puzzles. We traveled the surrounding areas. We'll be back. Thanks for the fun. PS. Loved the dogs.

A Quiet Getaway.

The bunkhouse was everything they said it was. Nicely laid out with all the necessities. It's located right on the edge of the Sonora Desert, so it is a great place for walking and communing with nature. The swimming pool was nice, but you had to remove the cover sometimes if you wanted to use it. Close to the town of Wickenberg, which is a piece of the old west, with a great museum and lots of western souvenir stores. We found that you are basically left alone to you own devices, so it was a great place to relax and unwind.

We spent a great week here at the Bunkhouse. There was everything you could ever need there. We took six kids and they had a ball! Jean was amazing and very helpful. We loved the dogs! We wanted to take Luke home with us, but he does belong to Jean! I would recommend the bunkhouse to anyone wanted a peaceful, quiet and private spot! The views are incredible. Thanks for your hospitality!
