Beaches:
Aloha and welcome to romantic Kauai, one of the world's truly remarkable islands. It is an island of magic and beauty with some of the most pristine beaches in the world. It has been the location of countless movies set in tropical beach locales. It continues to dazzle visitors who travel to Hawaii just to vacation at the beach. Kauai vacationers are amazed at what they find when they come to Kauai for the first time.
Our home is a short walk to a trail to Sea Lodge Beach, and within a 10 minute drive to Hanalei Bay, Anini beach and Hideaway Beach, just to name a few! The North Shore has many spectacular beaches suitable for families, surfing, and private walks!
Golf:
There’s no secret to Kauai’s spectacular golf offerings. Take the island’s lush beauty—it isn’t called the Garden Isle for nothing—and add challenging courses designed by some of the sport’s finest architects. It’s a winning combination that adds up to a true golfer’s paradise.
On Kauai's North Shore, the luxurious Princeville Resort also offers a pair of courses. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the Prince Course has been rated as the top course in Hawaii by Golf Digest. The Makai Course is considered three courses in one, with the Ocean Nine being closest to the ocean; the Lakes Nine winding around serene lakes; and the Woods Nine cutting through native woodlands.
NorthShore :
Even among the Hawaiian Islands, Kauai stands out for the natural beauty of its sculptured cliffs, cascading waterfalls, quiet lagoons and pristine beaches. Mount Wai’ale’ale rises over 4,500 feet above the Pacific. Usually wrapped in mist, this peak is one of the wettest places on Earth. Its rivers and streams nourish a phenomenal abundance of trees, flowering plants and exotic birds, many species of which cannot be found anywhere else.
