Perfect South beach location

The apartement was nice and tidy and the owner easy to communicate with. But the real highlight was the location. As a first time visitor to Miami Beach from Norway, it was like winning a lottary to discover that it could not have been better, except if it was on the ocean in the same street! The very next street Espanola way, two minutes to walk from the apartment, is a short, car-free restaurant street. The perfect-spiced guacamaole in its Mexican restaurant caused us to eat there twice, and it was like going to a free show when the weekly monday night tango started in its spanish tapas restaurant. By the way, their tapasmenu was possibly the biggest and most varied I have ever seen and the atmosphere laidback realxing, but the memory of passionate, beautiful tango is what stays.
The bus stop to the city center was on the very next corner from the apartment, and the bus stop to go to Aventura mall was on Lincoln street, five minutes walk away where the pedestrian part of it stops. It was really great to have easy accessible public transport, although we mainly stayed on South Beach where we could walk to everything.
We used the patio for outside breakfast, a good start of each vacationday. The apartment buildings swimmingpool had two good sunbeds, but we did not use them as they hardly did get any sun, and the poolside was so tiny so it was no opportunity to move them, as they could not fit anywhere else.
As I enjoy walking, I walked around most of South Beach, and I would pick the same apartment again if I were to go back.
