no toilet paper, leaks, unrefunded deposit

we rented the house for 4th of july weekend and ran out of toilet paper because the owner did not leave any extra rolls and a ceiling that leaked into the kitchen whenever the 2nd floor shower was used.
worst was the owner's claims that we left the house in worse than normal wear and tear condition. i repeatedly asked for invoices than showed extra costs above normal cleaning and offered to have her take the difference from our deposit, but she never responded to this issue, claiming that this was not necessary. we were a group of 8 women, all mid-aged professionals and all of us have rented houses many times and not one of us have *ever* had such issues with an owner not refuding a security deposit.
we followed her sole instructions of taking out all trash in regulated trash backs and left the house in normal condition.
feel free to rent this house if you don't mind getting shafted on your security deposit.
Owner's Response: I am sincerely upset with this situation. When I walked into my life long charming family summer home after these tenants departed, there was raw garbage (including food) left on the floor in the kitchen (honestly, I could tell you what they had for dinner the night before by what was on the floor and bags of garbage left in the kitchen). The sink was filled with dirty dishes. Every bedroom was trashed. The ceiling leaked because the shower curtain was not placed inside the old fashioned tub when the tenants were showering. I spoke with Suzie numerous times, trying to amicably resolve the situation with no success. I have had success renting this beautiful family home for years and have not had any problems before. Please disregard this review. I can provide references if so desired.
