Very clean, remodeled, modern, charming studio located on a very quiet tree lined street in Central Venice. Queen bed with memory foam mattress & 600 count sheets. Hair dryer, bath robes, 42' Hi Definition flat screen TV with Direct TV premium package'. Wi Fi access. DVD & CD player. Free use of washer & dryer. 4 blocks to V.B. 1 block to A.K. Blvd. home of many good shops and restaurants. Free use of 2 bikes. PLEASE READ GUEST COMMENTS - OUR CLIENTS LOVE US. We strive for a Ritz experience at Best Western prices.

Studio is a short walk to the heart of Venice Beach and an even shorter walk the the heart of Abbott Kinney Blvd. There are many good restaurants near by and a couple of very good ones as well as a hot bar scene. Abbott Kinney is a wonderful street to walk while looking at the people and shops. There are very interesting shops offering everything from home furnishings to hip clothes for both men and women. A little longer walk gets you to Santa Monica or Marina del Rey. The Venice Canals with many outstanding contemporary homes is close by.

It was everything advertised and more. I have already recommended to friends coming to LA area. Frank was very gracious and helpful.
Parking was easy. Property was clean. Hope to make it back again.

A quaint oasis in Venice

Frank and Sandy host a great little place. Super clean with all amenities you could need. When we arrived, Frank gave us the low-down on the area, best places to eat and sights to see. Their library of maps, guidebooks and history of the area is great for orienting yourself to LA and Venice's long history as a destination.

Only a ten minute walk to the beach and 2 blocks from Abbott Kinney, this is the best place for soaking in local action and getting a true feel for Venice life.

We recommend without hesitation!!

Hotel 508 cute and cozy

We had a great stay in Venice Beach with Frank and Sandy. They live in the other half of the building and are both very accommodating. They make you feel like you have known them forever and are most helpful in sharing their knowledge of the area. The studio is very comfortable and is well located to stroll down to the beach (less than 5 minutes away) an charming Abbot Kinney. Hats off to both of you!!!

Perfect Home from Home

This is a fabulous place to stay. The location is great; close to everything but in a real neighbourhood, rather than a impersonal resort. The bus network is comprehensive, for those who don't want to drive (although the size of LA makes for slow, but interesting, journeys). The accommodation is comfortable and clean. The owners, Sandy and Frank, are very welcoming, and are the perfect hosts - there if needed for anything, but don't intrude. Oh, and Sandy makes a great Gin & Tonic! Hal's and Chaya are good places to eat. The pizza place (takeaway) on Abbot Kinney is worth a try, and the RoosterFish bar, also on Abbot Kinney, is a great little place. Lastly, if you like art, don't miss the Getty Center. I'd recommend this property wholeheartedly, and certainly hope to go back again one day.

You have to stay here!!!

We stayed here for a week and it was an excellent base for exploring LA. It was more than a base, it was a true home from home. The appartment was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. There were many information leaflets to assist us in choosing where to go and what to see. Frank and Sandy were wonderful hosts and gave us lots of advice/guide books to help us plan the rest of our trip around California as well as our stay in LA.

The studio was everything it said it would be in terms of the location, layout and amenities. It was 10 minutes walk to Venice Beach and 15 minutes drive from LAX. We would highly recommend this appartment.
