Big friendly dogs are welcome. Laid back environment that is smoking friendly, outside.

Sit on deck and feel like being out in the country, serene private location but close and easy access to events. This duplex was close to the heart of Austin and soclose to all the neat things in Austin. the owner was extremely helpful and fun to be around. I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to get away for the hotel environment. Comfortable and not too expensive.

our stay at the lightsey sage home was very wonderful. close to downtown but like in the country all at once, peaceful, relaxing and two wonderful and helping people who own it. we had a family vacation there for a week to see our son before he got deployed for overseas and louie and debra helped us out at a very important time in our lives. we will never forget them and if we ever get to texas again we will rent from them in the sage house. it is a very nice and beautiful home.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We stayed at this rental for the month of February 08. Very good location, about a 5 minute drive to downtown and SoCo. Very private, great place to stay if you have a dog.
Owners have two very nice dogs. Very clean. Appliances and TV are dated but all work fine. Owners are very nice and will assist you in any way. We would stay there during our next visit to Austin.
