About the Jeep. :
Jeep Wrangler is available from Mr. Granville Elliot at All-round Rentals. Mr. Elliot will park the jeep at BeeOneCee prior to your arrival and pick it up after you leave. Since we take you to and from the airport, what could be easier? TOTAL charge for the Jeep rental is $68 per day, no minimum, and that includes all taxes and fees. Previous guests have been delighted with the service and cost. (If you decide to lease a car elsewhere, be sure to ask the *total* cost. And don't pick up your rental at the airport, as it costs $11 per day more and is a hassle to pick up and return.) You may contact Mr. Elliot at 340-690-4431 and let him know that you are staying in 'B1C at Dorothea Beach'.
What's this Welcome Package?:
Your welcome package will include soft drinks, bottled water, beer and wine and food items for a first evening meal--in case you arrive exhausted or late, plus snacks like fruit, chips, nuts, and cookies. You will also find food items for you to prepare your first breakfast, since you'll be in no hurry once you sample BeeOneCee and Dorothea Beach. (We'll talk about your preferences later) BeeOneCee is stocked with kitchen supplies and basic toiletries plus sunscreen, body lotion, insect repellent, and other supplies that weigh you down when traveling. We provide Airport pick-up AND return. No stress figuring out how to get back to the airport--or how much it will cost!!! We also have no set 'check-in, check-out time' so you can relax at BeeOneCee until time to leave for airport. Instead of wondering what to do with your luggage and yourself until your plane leaves. Who enjoys that? Towels, linens, and beach towels--and plenty of them--changed mid-week.
What to bring?:
Very little. And unless you are visiting to attend a special event, you will need strictly casual clothes. BeeOneCee has a washer/dryer inside the condo, so you can easily freshen up a few items if you run short. One question I hear often: 'do I need a PASSPORT?' Don't be fooled by what you hear. If you are a U.S. citizen traveling from the mainland to the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix) you do NOT need a passport!!! If you take an excursion to the British Virgin Islands, or elsewhere, you will be required to produce a passport. (In general, having a current passport with you is a good idea.)
