Our Eagle's Nest log cabin on 35 acres is perfect for your next vacation, reunion, weekend getaway, personal retreat or honeymoon. Need a comfortable home base for exploring and sightseeing? You've found it! We invite you to experience Colorado: clean and clear mountain air at 9000 ft. elevation; average summer temperature of 70 degrees; campfires at night in the cool evenings; and fantastic nighttime views of the moon, stars and planets and outstanding views of Pikes Peak and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Our two cabins are available singly or together. There's room for up to 11 in 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 kitchens, a playground, hiking trail on-site, two campfire rings, gorgeous mountain views. With both our cabins we provide all those little things you hate to pack or forget to bring. Perfect for family reunions or get-aways with friends!

Eagle's Nest Cabin is located about 6 miles north of Divide, CO. Woodland Park is about 13 miles away and it's about an hour drive to Colorado Springs and all that's offered there. It's a short drive to the Cripple Creek/Victor historic gold mining area and gambling, Florissant Fossil Beds, Mueller State Park. Woodland Park has many restaurants, a dinosaur museum, movie theaters and shopping. World class skiing is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away at Breckinridge or Ski Cooper near Leadville. We're near it all: fishing, hiking, scenic drives, winter sports of all types, antiquing, mountain biking, Pikes Peak (by car, train or foot), Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, ghost towns, US Air Force Academy, Fort Carson, wineries, Royal Gorge, and hot springs. Or, in the peace and quiet of our 35 acres, you can lie in a hammock, read, sleep and re-charge. Check email.   • Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Cabin occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. You must be 21 years or older to secure reservation at any at Potter's Inn at Aspen Ridge property. 50% deposit is required at booking. Rental fees for reservations are due in full 60 days in advance of the date on which the reservation begins. Rental fees for reservations made less than 60 days in advance are due in full at the time the reservation is made. Reservations shall not be transferred or assigned without the consent of Potter's Inn at Aspen Ridge. There is a 15% cancellation fee for cancellations made 60 days before the start of the reservation.
  • No refund of paid reservation will be made unless cancellation request is made at least 60 days prior to the date on which the reservation begins and will be refunded with less than 60 days notification only when the cabin is re-rented. Charges will be made for any broken or missing items and for any damages to furnishings and equipment in the amount necessary to replace and/or repair said items. An additional cleaning charge will be made if any unusual or excessive cleaning is required when the tenant has checked out. All rates and policies are subject to change without notice. Local calls are free from cabin phone, access to long distance calls is only available with the use of tenants' calling cards.

Notes: We provide local telephone service only, please bring a calling card for long distance calls. With your own laptop you can use the internet using our free Wi-Fi. The outdoor patio has a table and 4 chairs. Two additional garden chairs, a chaise lounge and a hammock await you! Our kitchen is stocked with a large crock pot for our guests to use. The range is a smaller size, but with 4 gas burners and gas oven and broiler. The refrigerator is also a smaller size, but with a top freezer and vegetable/fruit drawers.

My husband and myself stayed at Eagles Nest for a week during June 2008. I found it to be a very peaceful and resting place with perfect scenery and privacy. We had a wonderful time and the cabin was exceptionally nice and clean and had all the necessities of home. We would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes nature and privacy.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This was the best!!!! Everything that you could possibly want in a mountain cabin was there. The hosts were helpful, asking if there was anything that they could get us...wonderful experience. We'd go again in a heartbeat.
