Totally private but right in the middle of the action on the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Course inside the gates of Bermuda Dunes Country Club. This two bedroom + sleeping alcove, three bathroom 4,000 square foot mid-century classic will blow your socks off! New to the rental market in March 2007 and designer decorated with everything you could possibly want including a 20 foot long sunken wet bar with all the necessities, this is party central. Huge (20 x 40, 8 foot deep) classic pool with spa in a private side yard and a separate huge yard on the golf course with granite and wicker seating and dining where you can watch the golfers and Clark Gable's pond. Stay fit in our home gym with treadmill, weight bench set, and ab-crunch bench. Much more info listed below....

The room has views of the golf course from two French doors and of the pool area from slider. The master bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub and large (5' x 8') walk in shower. The second bedroom has a luxury queen pillowtop mattress with a dark wood and leather headboard. The sunny yellow room is filled with light and has an adjoining bathroom with shower. There is an additional full bathroom for the sleeping alcove which has room for two on a aerobed. The sleeping alcove is 8 x 12 and is a bedroom except for the double door size opening (covered by curtain) to the great room. For longer stays the aero bed can be deflated and stored and the room used as a home office.

Location: This is one of the best locations in Bermuda Dunes Country Club. High over the fairway with sweeping views of the 5th and 6th fairway, 6th green, and 7th tee box. Large lawn and garden area on the front and side yards and a gated patio on the golf course side. Additional fully fenced and private yard with classic 60's swimming pool (20' x 40' and 8 feet deep)and spa. This is a truly spacious home on a 1/3 acre lot.

Greatroom details: This is the perfect place to hang out and have a great time! Sit back and watch premium cable sports and movie channels on the 32 inch LCD HDTV at the bar. This same TV swings around into the living room where you can turn on the gas fireplace with terrazo hearth and watch the action at the 6th hole. The bar has its own sink, refrigerator, and crystal barware for any drink you may want. We will set up the bar for you ahead of time at market rates if you wish. The stereo system in the greatroom is Marantz with Tanoy hand wound speakers. The newly remodeled kitchen with French cookware has its own bar with four stools just in case you want an audience at the stove or a spot for a quick snack. The dining area is next to the kitchen with a slider to the pool area. The dining room table seats 8. Through the kitchen is the two car garage where a well appointed gym awaits you with professional treadmill that you can actually run on, weight set and bench, and ab-crunch bench.

Bedroom details: The master bedroom has a luxury pillowtop mattress and Tommy Bahama furniture. There is also a full size cream leather sectional in the sitting area with views of the golf course thru two French doors. The bedroom also has a sliding door to the pool area. The master bathroom is enormous with a large jacuzzi tub and a 4' x 8' walk in shower. The guest bedroom has a queen luxury pillowtop mattress with dark wood and leather furniture. The adjoining bathroom has a shower with skylight. There is room for 2 more guests in the 3rd bedroom (9 x 13) on a queen raised aerobed with third full bathroom. All bed and bathrooms have high quality linens, towels, and soaps. There are ceiling fans in the great room and bedrooms except 3rd. We have wireless high speed internet available and there is a small desk in the great room with printer and fax machine.

Relax in sunny Bermuda Dunes

Casual, elegant, and comfy home right on golf course of famous Bermuda Dunes Country Club. Spanish/Mediterranean, tasteful decor. Public rooms are spacious and well appointed. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, with great linens and comforters. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, certainly for warming take-in and snacking. Bathrooms are clean (whole place is of course) and well equipped. Pool is completely private and very sunny. Basically, bring your toothbrush, clothes, and prepare to relax! Be sure when you venture out to take the tram ride up the mountain in Palm Springs--not to be missed. Bring a jacket if you go on the tram--it's surprisingly cold up there, but the ride and the view are spectacular.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Everything from the start went very well. Instructions were provided for absolutley everything. From the moment we got there we knew that we had chosen well. The property itself is huge! The place was very clean and all of the bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen and bar areas were perfect for a weekend getaway. Its a total entertainers home. Its close to the supermarket as well as other little shops. I would stay there again and again! The pool area is huge as well. Thank you for everything!!
