Photos and Description of this Big White holiday Townhouse - 3 Bedrooms - 3 1/2 Baths - (Sleeps 7-9)

#9 Blacksmith Lodge (a 2000 sq ft unit) is one of the most luxurious properties on the mountain with features such as hot water radiant heated floors, large private outdoor hot-tub with massaging jets (very nice after a long day skiing), a fully-equipped luxury kitchen, a great room with stone fireplace and panoramic views of Big White and the Monashee Mountains. All beds have comfortable fluffy duvets. There are two Master bedrooms with a King and Queen bed and en-suite bathrooms (one has a jetted tub plus handheld shower, the other a rain-shower). The third bedroom has a comfortable pull-out queen sofa bed in one area with a single/twin bunk bed in the other. This room has it's own bathroom with tub and shower and WC. The lodge has easy access to two main lifts (ski run goes right past back door!) and located only a few minutes from both the Village centre and Happy Valley.

Big White is a World Famous Ski resort attracting visitors from the UK, Europe, Australia as well as Canada and the USA. Skiers and Snowboarders love its record amount of dry powder snow, the beautiful runs (piste and gladed), the ski-through village and the wealth of activities. The Kids' centre is rated in the Daily Mail top 5 and the ski school has a reputation for superb tuition for all levels. Blacksmith Lodge is close to both the village and Happy Valley, meaning a short walk to Snowshoe Sams, The Copper Kettle, Snowghost Lounge, Swiss Bear, Coltinos, Kettle Valley Steak House and many other places for drinks, snacks, lunch and dinner. As Blacksmith Lodge is downhill from the Village, you can stop for Apres ski long after the lifts have closed and still ski home! The village has a large grocery and liquor store, a bakery and pizza delivery services! A few minutes walk to Happy Valley gets you on the Gondola, Snowmobiling, the Mega-Snowcoaster and many other activities.

Notes: 9 Blacksmith lodge is luxurious townhome accommodation spread over 3 floors for privacy. The master suites and laundry facilities are on the top level, with the main great room, kitchen, den, dining area and WC on the mid level. This level also has two outside decks and access to the outdoor hot tub. The lower level features a family room with more sofas, sleeping accommodation, a further bathroom and access to the heated garage. All slate floors are hot water heated and the unit is finished to a very high standard. Linens, towels and bathroom amenities are provided and for long stays a our cleaning staff will provide clean towels midway through. The hot tub is fully cleaned and inspected every other day/

To keep up with your e-mails, we have provided free high-speed wireless Internet access for our guests. Access to the lodge is via a Keypad code, which will be sent to you shortly prior to your arrival. Big White ski resort is Canada’s largest ski-in/ski-out resort with an average snowfall of 25 feet of 'champagne powder' snow. It has 118 designated trails, 27 unnamed trails, and lots of off piste skiing in the powder bowls and tree glades; 18% of the runs are beginner, 56% intermediate, and 26% expert.

We have both been skiing and snowboarding for many years and we still love the place. Not only for the great snow and challenging terrain, but also because of the friendly atmosphere and last but not least: no long lift queues! We've put a lot of thought in making the lodge as comfortable as possible, to ensure our guests will have a wonderful, fun and worry free holiday! Stayed for 2 weeks and just had to come back again! #1 Blacksmith lodge has beautiful furnishings, is decorated to an unbeliavable standard and had the best ski access you could imagine. The owners have done a terrific job in making sure everything you need is to hand. The hot tub is soooooo relaxing after a hard day on the slopes and you have to see the views for yourself.
