Oxford county line is only five miles out, with the best restaurants and great shopping. Lots of antiques, book stores etc... This home is located near Ole Miss University, 5 miles outside the Oxford County line. There are so many things to do nearby yet still located in a quite area, for a peaceful vacation getaway. There is always something going on all year round, you can not miss Double Decker Weekend, Water Melon festival, The lakes, art, music festivals all year round, and of course the Football and Baseball games. Great house.

Stayed for a game weekend. 6 adults very comfortably. Classic old large house and very nice, excellent shape, clean, quiet. Bathrooms and kitchen updated and nice. Actually nicer than most (if not all) hotels I've stayed in in Oxford. Will do it again. Owner was great to work with. The only con is its not in Oxford, but really not a big deal for game weekends (15-20mins)...and quite frankly so much nicer than most of what you get in Oxford anyway. Easily have the option to hang out, relax, cook on a Friday night and avoid the pregame crowd in Oxford. This is a great place for weekend games for a couple of families to bunk up or 2-3 couples.

We booked this home 6 mons in advance for game at Ole Miss, we were pleasantly surprised the house was more beautiful than the pictures showed, and the home owner was very easy to work with.
