New cabin overlooking pasture and Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Georgia, with year round views. Relax in the hot tub or by the wood burning fireplace in the living room. Have a game of ping pong, pinball, shuffle bowling, PlayStation, darts, watch a DVD with surround sound in our rec room. We are located minutes from Young Harris College, golfing at Brasstown Valley Resort, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Crane Creek Vineyards, Vogel state park, Brasstown Bald, movie theater, bowling lanes, arcade, go carts, and beautiful lake Chatuge. Bring your boat or rent one from either of the two marinas, jet ski, water ski, tubing, fishing, a great day at the lake with wonderful mountain views, ahhh !!! We now have added wireless broadband Internet access, horseshoe pits, and a shuffleboard table.

Stunning setting and interior too!

JJ's Retreat is a fabulous place to stay in the north Georgia mountains! We arrived in the dark, so at first simply marvelled at how well appointed the cabin was, and went to bed. The next morning we got a real treat when we woke up to wonderful views! The sunrise from behind the mountains opposite the rear porch is stunning... and at the other end of the day we star-gazed from the hot tub. The first morning, my dad, who doesn't sleep heavily, said he had the best night's sleep for the first night in a new place / bed he'd ever had, which is quite an achievement!
Brian and Dale have thought of just about everything, and far more than most vacation rental owners usually do - it almost felt like a show home that we shouldn't be spoiling, everything was so beautiful, yet it was very homely and comfortable at the same time.
All 4 of us (myself and hubby, plus my parents visiting from the UK) enjoyed our stay and really had a hard time leaving. This is the first vacation rental we've stayed in that we have immediately wanted to go back to and take other people with us to enjoy! Truly memorable for so many reasons, all of them good :-D
I should also add that the whole rental process, from the first enquiry to the directions we were given to get there, was also very easy and pleasurable, which of course sets the trip out on the right footing.
Thank you for everything - whenever we can find the time off work (!) we will be back again, probably with different visitors or maybe even on our own, despite the place being a bit more than 2 people need!

Wonderful vacation, wonderful website!

We were totally in awe of our "luck" in finding this cabin thru an online source, rather than friends or referrals. I had never booked a vacation this way and was skeptical at least. The owners have excellent customer service/communication and have an incredible attention to details and hospitality. The cozy, classy decor was exceptional and hard to leave!!. Loved the secluded, private setting. Thank you JJ's retreat for your part in a truly unforgettable family memory. Some trips highlights follow!
We dined at the Dillard house (total wow factor according to the teens), they LOVED Alpine Helen and Cherokee NC and meeting the Indians, the culture. Their favorite was "grubbin" at Gold N Gem's where we found HUGE rubies, sapphires, emeralds among many gems and had the stones cut and rings made right there!. They even liked hiking and all the N GA waterfalls and nature. They actually became antique junkies and wanted to hit every antique shop. I don't think I saw them TEXT all week!!

This is a beautiful home that has everything you need and more. We lacked for nothing. We spent Christmas in this lovely home and we throughly enjoyed the stay. The game room is a blast, the decor is wonderful and the kitchen is well furnished. AAll the extras...books, local information, movies...we loved them. The entire experience was excellent, from making reservations to the accommodations. We will be back!

This is our new fall favorite for a weekend away!

What a great experience! The onwers were easy to reach and flexible with helping get our dates and needs met. The cabin itself....well, it was gorgeous. They have thought of everything! It was clean, welcoming, beautifullly decorated, and completely equipped for the huge feasts we cooked as well as tons of types of entertainment. You feel isolated, yet are very accessible to town amenities. The view is so peaceful and the hot tub and grill really let you enjoy it. There are so many nice outdoors areas, from the horeshoe pit to the screened porch to the private master's bedroom porch. The game room downstais was so much fun, from the bowling game to the ping pong to darts to pinball, to poker and backgammon sets....you had it all! Our security deposit was completely refunded promptly and all fees were exactly as described. Much more straight-firward than other cabin fee structures. I wouldn't change a thing, and we WILL be back! Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend away!

Superb mountain home with all the amenities. Beautifully appointed cabin with mountain decor makes this home a perfect paradise and is close to everything. We look forward to returning and would encourage anyone to get away from it all with this premium vacation rental cabin.
