This private, ground level, 3800 sq ft home is right on the Playa de Coco beach . Panoramic views from your private ocean front patios. The rooms are all very spacious with high quality, comfortable furniture. All the bedrooms are air conditioned to guarantee restful sleeping. Bottled drinking water is supplied and state of the art UV water filtration ensures safe water everywhere in the house. A gourmet kitchen with all necessary tools, and a propane barbecue for outdoor cooking, or a short walk down the beach to a bar and restaurant. Whales breaching and other sealife will amaze you while resting under a shady palapa. Wireless Internet and Satellite TV with a full array of movie channels. National Turtle Sanctuary: The beach just in front of the house is a National Turtle Sanctuay, where sea turtles come to nest. One of the photos shows one baby turtle making his way to the ocean in the middle of the night on a full moon. During early morning walks, especially from December to March it is common to see where giant sea turltes have made their way up the beach and buried their eggs.

Old Mexico is still alive: There are several towns close by and they reflect mexican tradition. The currency of choice is still the Pesos. Credit cards are seldom accepted. Withdrawing Pesos from a ATM directly from your bank is the easiest way to navigate stores and restaurants. The towns of Barra de Navidad and Melaque have many seaside restaurants with a wide variety of seafood cooked a hundred different ways.

The house was great, the house has a great view of the ocean and it was a very pleasent stay. Very tropical land feels very comfortable.

We stayed recently with 3 other couples. This house is very spacious. It accommodated us very well. Only the master bedroom has the oceanview. The other 3 bedrooms are in the rear of the house. The kitchen was huge. The patio area surrounding the pool is expansive. It was a very quiet place. We felt safe at all times. The neighbors are very nice. We enjoyed the expansive beach all to ourselves. I'd highly recommend this home if you want to "get away". You will need a car. This is a hidden gem. I sort of hesitate to share on the web. I hope Playa de Coco and the towns of Barra and Melaque don't ever turn into another Cabo or Puerta Vallarta. This is a special place.

Fantastic house and even more beautiful beach. We had a group of 4 couples come down for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time - we had big plans but spent most of our time lounging in the pool and surfing the waves. Both Barra and Melaque were fun towns and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend for an authentic Mexican vacation!

A perfect break

We came in a larger group of mostly women, but had more than enough space. The pool is a nice size and depth, the beach is beautiful and empty (at least it is during the month of June), and the house is lovely. We spent the days listening to and watching the waves crashing as we cooked the large, open kitchen that looked out at the beach or lounging on the pool patio reading a book under the palapa. We were completely satisfied with our short stay and wish we could have stayed a full week or more. We would recommend it!

If you want a relaxing vacation, this is the place to stay. The spacious house is beautiful and well-maintained in a safe, gated community near Barra de Navidad. Beach, anyone? Just step off the back patio and you can walk for miles. The fresh seafood in local restaurants is heavenly and everyone we met was friendly and helpful.
