Fantastic Cabin

We loved the three levels in this cabin. Each level has its own tastefully decorated bedroom with bathroom. Having two teenage girls, it gave alot of privacy. It would be great for three couples. It was well stocked with all the necessities, including the kitchen. We grilled quite abit, and was disappointed with the location of the grill. We had rain four days and it is quite hot in the month of august, no shelter or shade. Also it is by the driveway area so no chairs, or area to sit and enjoy. I do have to recommend the pit area in the back of the cabin. We had bonfires, made smores and roasted hotdogs. This area also has a hammock and hot tub. The hot tub is one of the best I have been in, soooo relaxing. There are stairs from this area to the creek, its quite a few stairs and across a dirt road. It was a bit further than we thought. We did not have much luck fishing, a couple very small trout. My daughter and husband really hoped to do some serious fishing. It is a nice secluded area, lots of hummingbirds off the balcony with the sound of the creek . I loved the mornings on the very large deck with a cup of coffee and the serenity of nature. It was my dogs favorite part of the day also. Things I would recommend in the area. Ocoee rafting in Ducktown (20 min. away) was the highlight. Shopping in Blue Ridge, especially lunch at the Victorian House, great food and fun trying on old hats and stoles, props to help the ambience. Also a trip to Helen (51 miles away). It is a replica of a bavarian town, nice shops and restaurants. Again I would recommend this beautifully decorated cabin, we have such wonderful memories from our trip. PS. the wireless internet was great, it went out once for a brief time.
