Rustic With Beautiful View

The cabin was a great place for our trio of friends to stay. One of us had the small bedroom and the other two used the bed and fold out couch in the living room. Right out the picture window we watched the sun set each night -- except when we watched from the enclosed porch or just outside by the picnic table. Each day we drove about 20 minutes to different parts of Acadia Nat'l Park for hiking, kayaking, and swimming. The kitchen stove wasn't the greatest, but the excellent gas grill on the back deck made up for it.
We'd recommend it to other small groups or families who don't mind roughing it a little, but still want something with the basic comforts. Just remeber on a cold night to use all the extra blankets -- the cabin isn't insulated.
