Ocean Beach holiday cottage

I booked this place for my family and we were a bit hesitant at first because I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old and we weren't sure about the beach area, noise, etc. But this place was perfect!

My wife loved it -- the pack and play we brought fit perfectly next to the bed and our babies slept great. It was a block from the beach and really close to all the restaurants in the area and shopping so we didn't have to drive anywhere.

We walked to lunch every day and had something different each day because there are so many different types of restaurants nearby -- Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Portuguese, sushi, sandwiches, burgers, there are also about 3-4 nice restaurants that overlook the ocean with nice wine, etc. that I would have taken my wife if we didn't have the kids along.

This house itself was very clean inside. We were happy that this was a free-standing cottage (ie. no shared walls) because of our screaming kids. The owners are very nice people, you can tell they wanted us to be happy, we called because our baby spilled milk in the bed and we needed new sheets, and they brought us replacements within a few minutes of when we called.

The free snacks were great -- we were tired from the drive and to have some cold drinks and snacks waiting for us was great.

We did a lot of research before we chose a place, it was the best value for the money -- it included the most amenities at the lowest price. The washer/dryer really came in handy because our kids make lots of messes, and the kitchen had everything my wife needed to cook dinner for us every night so that we could save a bit on dinners.

We didn't realize how important it was to have parking at the beach. Luckily, this place came with parking, wherever you book, make sure your place comes with parking because there isn't any at the beach!

We will definitely stay here again.
