Very special southern Oregon coast rental house

The Pacific Sunset rental house on the Rogue River in Gold Beach is a very special place. We have stayed there twice in the last two years and can highly recommend the house for several reasons.
The first thing that comes to mind is the location and views from this hill top, very secluded chunk of paradise. Yet as private as it seems, you're just a short stroll to the river, dining, or minutes to the town of Gold Beach. The sense of peacefulness inside, and outside the house in the garden and yard was way beyond our expectations.
Inside the house the decor gives you a comfortable warm feeling with the dark wood and cozy cabin like decorating. The large kitchen with island cook top created a great place to gather while preparing meals with ample room for guests. The two bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, perfect for a honeymoon/anniversary or family vacation. Located on the south facing portion of the house is fantastic view room overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Rogue River, Gold Beach, and the well landscaped yard. The room has a dining table, futon couch, desk, and a cozy leather chair made for whiling away hours reading.
Outside the grounds are well maintained with a variety of interesting plants and some large trees that filter the view of the bridge. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and soak up the view while sitting in the hot tub or at the large outdoor dining table. There's a small side yard where the kids or dogs can play also. We spent many very enjoyable hours on the patio during both our visits.
And of course last but certainly not least we must give thanks to our very gracious hosts. They went out of their way to make our visits very memorable. If we had any questions or minor problems they were there to help. The welcome gift basket for our anniversary was a very personal touch. And the invite to visit The Winter Springs property was one all visitors should try to include while there, a fabulous piece of property.
