Winter in the Lot Valley:
Maison de Lumière is available for rental all year round. Autumn and winter are very enjoyable months in the Lot. The house is fully centrally heated by under floor gas heating plus a wood burning insert where the popluar 'grillades' can be cooked. The winters are short and less damp and windy than northern Europe. Hoare frosts are spectacular in January and February bringing out the photographers and artists. Numerous winter markets and fairs add to that lovely special atmosphere.

canoeing; cinema, markets, wine tours, boat trips, wine fairs, music festivals, hot air ballooning.
