Sandy Ridge holiday

Im going 2 start w/the postive, because this is a nice house. The things I like are the cool clean pool, easy entry/exit to property upon arrival & departure, pool toys offered but had 2 get from house 2 doors down, AC cooled house quickly, huge dining table 4 entire family, homelike atmosphere, bug free & clean, washer/dryer convience but gear on washer agitatior is stripped & needs service, comfy furniture, spacious 2 person showers w/hot water 4 everyone to shower, quiet safe neighborhood however too new to register on gps, comfy non allergenic pillows & beds. I also had things I did not like or was not happy with. There was a large hole in celing at entryway exposing plumbing, there was only 1 washcloth to use, & it was a torn towel, no movies or games (gamecube/DVD offered never told you need to bring your own games), phone rang often first day of rental, Master bedroom has VERY small tv, Lighthouse room was a army green cameo room (daughters wern't happy), was NOT house in photos but interior decor was very similar, Toiletries/garbage bags to get thru visit were not offered but did get 1 of each, walls were very dirty - especially up the stairs, vertical blinds on back door don't close all the way, one pnone in whole house was downstairs (what if emergency in middle of night?), gas grill was a table top,broke, & filty dirty (definatally not like the one in photo), pool sticks were all broken up pool table broke down and leaning and a couple of the pockets were loose, sink strainer in kitchen was broke so we could not hand wash dishes and the sprayer did not pull out of sink, We had 11am check out and pool guy came at 8:30 to put chemicles we were told not to swim, handy man at 9am to fix hole was in the way of packing car, I had a package delivered the day we left & they charged an EXTRA $10 just to take to the post office then shipping cost(it could have been taken as a service for a couple of dollars). I know my dislikes are very petty, and small but I am a believer that "it is the small details that make or break the experience". I would not stay in this property again because of the amount of other properties there are to rent. However if you are not worried about a few minor things then this is definatally the house for you. My girls loved staying here and swimming in the pool. My husband loved how cold the fridge kept his beer, I loved that there was room to get away from the kids, and we all loved that there were plenty of bathrooms.

"This is the perfect way to vacation! I highly recommend anyone with a family. It was just wonderful. The house is as described in the pictures, it was very clean and very well taken care off. There were 5 of us who stayed for 45 days, and we really had a great time .The house is really beautiful; has everything you could want , spacious with elegant and comfortable decorating ,We had a fantastic time and have many wonderful memories!! The house is close to everything you need. Outlet Malls, restaurants, theme parks and anything you could possibly want from Orlando are within a reasonable driving distance. We have travelled and stayed in a variety of vacation homes in different places and in our view this one is hard to beat. We didn't have to pack a lot due to the washer/dryer available at the home and all the linens we needed were provided. All we had to do was buy food to cook and then relax. The broad band was appreciated. . Lorie, the owner was very helpful and easy to work with in the rental process. Instructions were received promptly and she was very attentive and helpful with my inquiries.
The property manager was prompt in returning any calls and repairing any issues.
The house was perfect & so nice to come home to after a long day away. We would definitely consider renting again on a future trip. I am already looking forward to our next stay at this "unforgettable" house! Trust me when I say you will not be disapointed! "
