This well-appointed beach house located on Shacks Beach is nearby all of the wonderful vacation activities the Porto del Sol has to offer. Minutes from Punta Borinquen Golf Club, tennis club, and the Tropical Trail Rides. Jobos, Crash Boat, and Wilderness beaches are all within a ten minute drive of the house. You can also lounge on the third floor terrace as you watch magnificent ocean sunsets. The kitchen and laundry are fully equipped. Patio equipped with charcoal grilled. World-famous Camuy Caves, the Bioluminescent Bay in La Parguera, the beautiful bay of Boqueron in Cabo Rojo, and the Arecibo Observatory are all within an hour's drive. We are 30 minutes from the surfer`s beaches of Rincon. Fly directly into Aguadilla (BQN), you will be within ten minutes of the house.Only a short drive to historic old port town of Aguadilla, the new garden of the Atlantic. Nestled between the crystal clear blue waters of the Atlantic and the steep cliffs along the northwest coastline.

Tropical Trail Rides horseback riding adventures for the whole family in walking distance. Camuy Caves (one hour): the most impressive subterranean cave network in western hemisphere. Arecibo Observatory (one hour): the largest radio telescope on earth. Las Cascadas (minutes away on #107): the largest water park in Puerto Rico. Punta Borinquen Golf Course $18 for an 18-hole round. Crash Boat Beach (10 minutes on #107): Swim, boogie board, and snack on pinchos under the palms. Jobos Beach for surfing . World famous Rincon beach only 30 miles away.

Staying at this house reminded me of my childhood summers in Puerto Rico at my grandmother's house. It's a well appointed home just steps from the beach. Very clean and taken care of property. The owners do all their landscaping and is quite lovely. They a lemon tree, breadfruit tree, and even a banana tree. Nicely secluded. Shack's beach is the best. Never full of people and there were times I had that beach all to myself. Awesome snorkeling. Short drive to supermarkets. 5 mins from Aguadilla Airport. Hop, skip and a jump to Jobo's beach.

Only thing was that electricity would periodically go out. It wasn't a big deal because it came back within a couple of hours and you can hang out on the beach while you wait. My biggest complaint is that since this seems to be a regular nusiance there should be flashlights and/or lanterns available in case it doesn't come back before dark.

Otherwise, enjoy!!
Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review. We are happy that you and your family enjoy your stay with us. We tried to keep the house comfortable for all our guests. I am sorry about the electricity issue, it does not happen often. Unfortunately the are some things that we cannot control. If the electric company is doing maintenance in the area it will happen. Like you said it never goes for more than couple of hours when rarely occurs. We do have candles available if the need arises. We hope you visit us again. Thank you.
