Beach:
We have the ideal beachfront home. With a swimmable beach right outside our door. You can relax, swim, surf, boogie board or just listen to the waves crash! We are a short 3 minute walk on the sand to the most adorable beach town...this area serves burgers, fish & chips, Italian, sushi and much more to all the locals! There is also a great little surf shop! If you want to have more options, we are a 5 minute ride/bike or car to the beautiful town of Ventura. This is the perfect walking town with great restaurants, antique shops, galleries, retail, ice cream...etc. You name it...Ventura has it!
Downstairs there are three bedrooms and two more full bathrooms. There is an open floor plan with two living spaces, a dining area plus a kitchen bar that offers plenty of seating. The home has cable TV, DVD, stereo system throughout the house including outside patios!
The side patio has table seating plus additional 'bench seating' . We have a beautiful brand new stainless Steele gas BBQ and an outdoor firepit (perfect for late night s'mores!).
There is room for two cars --one inside the garage, one outside the garage. We also have a utility room with brand new front load washer and dryer.
Ventura is a short distance from both Ojai and Santa Barbara for easy day trips. The Ventura Marina is close by and offers Whale Watching and trips to the Channel Islands. Downtown Ventura is gaining prominence as an arts tourism destination. With the acclaimed Rubicon Theatre and the many art galleries, antique shops, and fine restaurants, Ventura is a great place to explore.
If you prefer to stay around the beach there are several excellent restaurants within a 3 minute walk on the beach! There is also a supermarket and specialty stores just up the street.
The size and location of this elegant home makes it a natural for a family trip or special getaway!
