Lost Valley Lodge is on Hemptown Creek (stocked with trout) 90 min N of Atlanta in Mineral Bluff called the gate-way to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Central Air/Heat covered porches first and second deck gas fireplaces upstairs and down. Cable TV/DVD/VCR in all major rooms, hammock by the creek gravel drive to accommodate several vans. Picture this: rocking in the rockers overlooking the rambling creek listening to the sounds of mother-nature (wild turkey, raccoons, birds, deer, and black bear) while grilling dinner on the barbie. Or you could be soaking in the Hot Tub located outdoors on the private second deck with a glass of your favorite beverage while your children are wading in the cool creek. Upstairs master bed (king) living room queen sofa full kitchen master bath walk in closet washer/dryer. Lost Valley Lodge is truly a secluded get-a-way: Close to downtown Blue Ridge for shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, Lowes, Home Depot and the hustle of a larger town. But, once you start heading back to Lost Valley Lodge, you drive through winding roads under the canopy of trees to a homey peaceful Cabin.

Fifty feet off the creek and it's all yours: A gentle babbling creek not too deep, just right. Kids can fish, swim, walk, and tube in the creek while you watch from the porch.

Game Room: We accommodated adults and kids with the game room. Regulation foosball table, 150 DVD/VCR movies, Play Station II with 15 play station games, puzzles, board games, horseshoes, and the Amazing 8' Goal Flex Air Hockey Table. Guitar Hero III

The house is beautiful and perfectly located. We were able to go to TN, NC, and travel GA with ease. There is so many things you can do within 90mins of this house we will be booking next year for 2weeks. We went to waterfalls, local shopping, Blue Ridge Train ride, Mercier Orchard,a kangaroo conservation, and the Lost Sea. There are still a ton of things we would like to do. The local restautants were great. Everyone in the area is so nice and willing to help. If your looking for anything just ask the locals..they will gladly suggest places to go. There is a grocery store and many other stores for supplies within 15-20mins of the home. Yet when you get to the property you will feel like your all alone in seclusion.
The house itself is beautiful and so home-y feeling. It is well maintained and clean.The description is accurate but the pictures don't do all the woodwork in the home justice. It was ready for us to enjoy when we got there. Our dogs had a blast..we all left kicking and screaming wanting to stay longer. We can't wait to go back!! I would recommend this home to anyone that wants to enjoy themselves and stay in a lovely home!!
Owner's Response: I try very hard to truly accomodate each and every guests needs. I realize that you want to get away and at the same time have all of the comforts of home. I realize that your pets are very dear to you and special treats await them. If possible check-in and check-out times are flexible. Sometimes every third or fourth night is free depending on the season. We have a play room with Air-Hockey, Foos-Ball, Play Station II, Guitar Hero III, a library and many movies. If you have a special interest share with me and I will try to give you good direction. I want your stay to be as exciting or as relaxing as you choose.
