Town of Cahuita is home to the Cahuita National Park Reserve. Guest House built in 2005 sets on 1 acre of private property. Owners live in the front house on the property 100 meters from Playa Grande beach. Cahuita is an easy 3 mile walk. Taxi’s, scooters, and bicycles are readily available for rent in town. Includes: 2 bedrooms with new beds and linen, Stove and refrigerator, Kitchen utensils, Towels, Fenced yard with table, BBQ area, Secure electric fence around premises with hibiscus hedge. Washer / Dryer available for a modest fee.

Nearest Airport: Limon airport at 30 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 0.1 Miles
The town of Cahuita hosts several nice restaurants, clubs, grocery stores, Internet cafe, and the entrance to Cahuita national park. Our home is located just 3 miles north of town down the beach road. The cottage sits amongst rain forest, and monkeys are often on the property with many old growth trees. The beach is just across the street.

This cottage,landscape, view of the Carribean, fruit bearing trees AND the Wonderful Couple who rented to us made this vacation the BEST EVER. The hospitality and welcome afforded us by Randy & Sandy was the icing on the cake. We used our cottage as base to tour the entire Carribean Coast. An easy 3 miles from Chauita with resturants, tours and National Park w/ so much wildlife we ran out of camers FlashCard space! We will definately visit again, for longer! 3.5 to 4 hr drive from San Jose.1 hr from Panama, $4 by bus. Lovely Paradise Terry & Terri

Great place to relax

This house is approx. 5km from the town. It's preferable to have a car to move around.

Located at the back of the owner's property, this is a tipical costarican house. It's clean and all the basics are provided. The owners are very friendly. The rental is really not expensive for the quality provided. A great way to visit the Carabean cost inexpensively.

We felt very secure. There is an electric fence around the property and a big wood gate (always locked).

The beach in front of the property is almost deserted. Few people were there when we visited. No restaurant, no noise... perfect.

For adventure seekers, many activities can be booked from Cahuita.
