Ideal Idyllic Place!

Our experience began with kind, courteous dealings with owners Bill and Lisa. Their friendliness is as super as their rustic cabin! The amenities include a hot tub located on a screened-in porch, a working fireplace, DirectTV and DVD player. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch at night, listening to the 'katydid concert', brings one back to nature. The "Alpine Treehaus" is neat, clean and well-supplied with appliances, linens, towels, cookware and dishes, etc. Just bring your toothbrush and a change of clothing!
Nearby amenities are plentiful! Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls in the Chattahoochie National Forest, and, in the Alpine village of Helen, there are German restaurants, tubing down a stream and lots of arts & culture. And...if you ever get a hankering to pan for gold, a 15 minute drive from the Treehaus location will put you in the area where more gold was discovered than the California gold rush of 1849. And there's more gold to be found "in them thar hills"; at a working mine, we found a few gold nuggets weighing .12 ounce.
For rustic surroundings, in the heart of the Georgia mountains, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city-living, THIS is the place!
