This private, exceedingly comfortable house has everything you need for a family vacation, a private getaway, or a retreat weekend. The large open living room with fireplace has two sliding doors that open to a two level deck, sunset views, stone step garden, orchard and open field. The large open kitchen and dining room have two French doors that open to a breakfast deck with awning, terrace with gas grill, gardens and wooded hillside. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and three bedrooms, new bathroom and a playroom with a foosball table and sliding glass door that opens to a new half-court basketball court. Situated at the end a dirt road but walking distance to South Strafford, the most beautiful village in Vermont. South Strafford has a country store with post office and bank, two tennis courts, soccer field and town pond and swimming hole. This is a dream vacation home and is only 20 minutes from Hanover.

South Strafford is 20 minutes from Hanover, N.H. and Dartmouth University and 20 minutes from Vermont Law School in South Royalton. It is approximately 90 minutes from both Manchester Airport in New Hampshire and Burlington Airport in Burlington, Vermont. We are 10 minutes from Route 89. We are an easy drive to skiing, boating, golfing sightseeing, mountains, waterfalls, tubing, great restaurants, shopping, movies, and theatre. South Strafford is a very friendly and picture perfect village. Very comfortable, private and relaxing. South Strafford has it's own ski hill, town pond, river and swimming holes, 2 tennis courts, soccer field, indoor and outdoor basketball court, and village store.

My family and I & our friends just enjoyed a most happy and restful Presidents' Day weekend at this comfortable,
welcoming home!
There is plenty of space for everyone to find quiet time or play games, watch TV or enjoy each other's company!
We found everything clean and in order. The owner is most pleasant to deal with!
We very much enjoyed walking and enjoying the lovely countryside as well!
I would like to return to this home and enjoy the other seasons as well!
