Campo Alegre Nosara is a secluded, beautiful 2 acre property located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. We are five minutes walk to the Nosara Yoga Institute and three beautiful unspoiled white sand beaches – Guiones, Nosara and Palada, all with great surfing. Casa Alegre has two bedrooms each with full bathrooms. It has two king size beds and two twin day beds in the sitting room. The bedrooms have air conditioning. There is a beautiful wrap around porch, with lots of comfortable chairs and hammocks. Campo Alegre Nosara has a large lap pool, a lighted tennis court and the grounds are filled with gardens for you, the monkeys, birds and butterflies to enjoy. Nosara with its beautiful beaches provides a fabulous place for surfing, deep sea fishing, yoga, horse back riding, turtle watching, tennis, zip line tours, kayaking, bird watching, cycling or just relaxing by the pool. There are also great restaurants and shops.

We are located on the Guanacaste Penisula of Costa Rica. Our Beaches Guiones, Palada, and Nosara are beautiful, unspoiled, white sand, miles long that provide fantastic surfing, fishing, horseback riding, and beach combing and tide pools. The Nosara Yoga Institute with it's world class facility is a five minute walk from our property. We are a short drive to Ostional Beach with it's Ridly turtle preserve and great surfing. Garza Beach is a 5 minute drive with it's world renowned deep sea fishing.

We can do your personal laundry for $10 per load. If you want additional maid service or a cook, we can arrange that as well.

The Property: Campo Alegre is 2 and 1/2 acres of beautiful gardens that is a haven for howler monkeys, butterflies and exotic wild birds.

Our Stables: Our stables include beautiful tope horses, trail horses and yearlings. All are fit and well cared for. If you are in the area long term you might be interested to know that we also board horses and lease horses.

Other Activities: Tennis Court and Large Lap Pool on site.

A little bit of paradise

Campo Alegre - Linda's place - is really wonderful and Linda is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome whilst giving you the space to get on with your own thing.
We stayed in Casita de Amor which was really comfortable and had eveything we could want. The accommodation overlooked the pristine lap pool, which we had to ourselves a lot of the time, and the new tennis courts. We spent many a happy early evening sat on the verandah listening to the (very sweet) howler monkeys in the trees right above us.
Linda's place is ideally situated, just a short walk from the beach and great surf and near to several good restaurants and bars and the yoga institute. It is really pretty and extremely well kept and has a very secluded feel.
We had a wonderful time in Nosara and can't wait to go back! I would strongly recommend Campo Alegre as a fantastic holiday venue.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We had a fantastic time at Campo Alegre. The
house is comfortable and clean. We took full
advantage of the pool and tennis court. But we
cherished most being able to walk to the beautiful
Pacific Ocean, hearing the howler monkeys,
breathing the clean air of this remote place, and
being surrounded by the lush variety of tropical
plants that grace the property.

A Hidden Treasure

Wow! What a hidden treasure. Campo Allegre has it all: five minute walk to the beach and great surfing, ten minutes to Garza for fishing, horseback riding tours through the jungle and on the beach, tennis, and don't forget lounging by the pool or watching the monkeys eat mangos above you. The two bedroom house has ample space and the hand carved doors, cabinets and furniture are absolutely beautiful. July is a great time of year for a visit.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wow! What a hidden treasure. Five minute walk to the beach for great surfing, ten minute drive to awesome fishing, horseback tours through the jungle and on the beach, tennis, or just lounging by the pool watching the monkeys eat mangos. Camp Alegre is beautifully constructed with hand carved teak doors and furniture. July is an awesome time of the year for a visit.

Home away from home

Linda, the owner, makes you feel so at home in her beautiful property. Our home above the stables was immaculate and we loved it. Staying there you enjoy the monkeys daily and there was even a baby right outside our window many mornings. And the pool was fabulous on hot afternoons. While there we walked to the beach to see the sunset, but drove to the restaurants; many offer a beautiful view of the sunset. I went zip lining at Miss Skye. That was fantastic!. The best restaurant was Marlin Bills. He know the local fishermen and offers great fish, hamburgers, and a different menu daily. The men went deep sea fishing and came home with lots of great fish. It's a trip of a lifetime and Linda's great relationship with the locals and the Ticos made it especially nice. Everyone knows her and makes you feel welcome all over town. The roads are dirt and it is hot so you'll want to arrange transportation of some kind. There are rental car companies in town. I'd recommend this property to anyone who is interested in a jungle vacation. I absolutely loved staying there.
