Summer Cottage located in quiet, peaceful, Little Compton, RI. A perfect summer vacation spot! 800+ Sq. Ft. house located less than 5 minutes walk from South Shore Beach… on a private drive with only other summer cottages. Property has open grass area for activities (baseball, Frisbee, boccie, badminton), a large deck shaded by a huge oak for daytime and evening relaxation (w/ a BBQ grill), and a screened in front porch to simply watch the world go by. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking in, but also located within 15 minutes from excellent waterfront restaurants and ~30 minutes to historical downtown Newport, RI. A perfect location and cottage to get away and enjoy time with family, friends, and or significant other!

Little Compton is a small, really protected town. It is much like Nantucket was before development was allowed to dominate that area/island. It is also a town with an abundance of history (see link below). There many things to do both in town and on the periphery. Restaurants in the area include: The Common's Lunch, A-1 Pizza, The Barn (great breakfast!), The Four Corner's Grill, Gray's Ice Cream (amazing), The Back Eddy (on the harbor/water in westport... spectacular), just to mention our favorites! Other town center amenities include: Beaches, Movie Store, Dry Cleaner, Bank of America, Post Office, General Store, Liquor Store, Gas Station, and Many Farm Stands with famous Corn and vegetables! Drive time to Newport RI (30m), New Bedford, MA (20m), Cape Cod and Boston (45m). From NYC (4h) and from Hartford (2.2).
