Little Creek Cabin

We rented the Little Creek Cabin which is approx. 25 minutes (16 miles) from Boone, North Carolina where our daughter will be attending Appalachian State this fall. The cabin is located at the end of a gravel road - quite a ways up the mountain, and was nicely secluded. We drove a sedan (rear wheel drive), and I can't imagine driving up the mountain (at least on the gravel road) without 4-wheel drive in the winter. Cabin was very clean and well appointed. Our only complaint was the lack of natural light. We found ourselves turning the lights on during the middle of the day. Beds were comfortable. After attending orientation at App. State, we stayed in the area and hiked varies trails off the BRP.
