A delightfully converted first floor flat right in the heart of Orgiva, giving easy access to the Alpujarra region. The flat has a light and airy open plan reception room with lounge, dining area and kitchen. French doors lead on to a balcony and there is a staircase to the rooftop giving 360 degree views of the town and the surrounding mountains. There are two double bedrooms. One with a double bed, one with two singles A cot for a baby is also available, but we suggest the apartment is really not suitable for young children. The apartment is situated within a couple of minutes stroll of the bars, restaurants, shops, banks and the Thursday market. You can swim on a day ticket at the local campsite, a 15 minute walk away. There is room to store mountain bikes, skis, baby buggies, etc in the ground floor lobby. An ideal base for artists, walkers, cyclists and househunters!

Our apartment is situated in one of the little winding lanes in the heart of Orgiva town centre at the gateway to The Alpujarras Mountains. Orgiva is a typically Spanish bustling market town - there's plenty of shops, banks, bars and restaurants. In summer in Southern Spain it's hot, but with a gentle breeze to help cool things down. The countryside is truly beautiful and an ideal area for exploring. Or you can just watch the world go by - life here is slower - and there is always tomorrow ! Market day is Thursday. The Costa Tropical is 30 minutes by car and Granada, with the world-famous Alhambra Palace or the ski runs of the Sierra Nevada about an hour's drive. Further afield you will find Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Toledo.

    We will require a Euro 100 deposit , payable on arrival to cover the costs of any damage or loss of property. This total sum or the balance, as appropriate, will be repaid upon departure when we visit to collect our keys.

    The rent includes bed linen and towels, however, please bring your own swimming towels.

Payment.: We request a 25% non-refundable deposit, payable within 7 days of reservation, the balance being payable 8 weeks before your arrival. Late bookings - in these last 8 weeks - will require full payment at time of reservation.

Once again a really enjoyable experience in a great part of Spain! I said I'd go back to Orgiva and I'm glad I did. This apartment really does offer everything you need for your visit, whether it be sightseeing, visiting the beaches, skiing - or all three! Another big thank you to Doug and Diane for creating a real home-from-home environment in a brilliant area. Definitely worth a visit - even if it's just for the mountain views!!!

I guess it's a measure of what a perfect location Orgiva is if guests want to see what Andalucia has to offer. And you haven't done it all yet, by any means!

So very happy with my second visit to the lovley town of orgiva i found it even better than the first time if thats possible just alot more comfortable with knowing the area and some of the very friendly local people who will go out of there way to make sure we enjoy are stay in there humble town. looking forward to visit number three if lovley Diane and Doug will have us again a big thank you to them for making it so very enjoyable and the appartment so homely.

A week in Orgiva

This is a well maintained, clean apartment, well situated one street back from the main street in Orgiva.
We stayed for a week, doing a mixture of walking, sightseeing and relaxing and we were very pleased with the accommodation.
The rooms were large and airy and although there is no air conditioning we had sufficient through ventilation to stay reasonably cool. The kitchen area is large and well equipped and the balcony area was great for eating out in the morning and evening (it is enclosed so there are no views over the town).
The large shower worked well and there was always plenty of hot water. When we arrived there was an excellent welcome pack with some drinks and breakfast items which meant we didn't have to rush out looking for food.
The owners were very helpful, parking was no problem (late August).
This is good, straightforward accommodation in a lively market town and is excellent value for money. We will use it again.

Our goal is to always give excellent value for money, whilst not skimping on cleanliness, essential furniture, linens and equipment.
We continue to strive to provide all this, whilst presenting you with a few little extra treats in our starter pack.

Really good value

The apartment was bigger than expected and was fine for two adults and children aged 14, 11 and 4. The balcony was great for barbacues and extra space to be in while the kids watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the 4th time!! We arrived Sunday evening so the welcome pack containing tea, milk, cornflakes and a bottle of wine were much appreciated. Would recommend the cakes in the bakery next door and the campsite swimming pool and tapas. Thanks for everything.

We like the apartment to feel welcoming and homely.

The selection of DVD's & CD's means no matter what age -all our guests usually find an old favourite! We are told the Scrabble, Playing Cards, Monopoly and Dominoes also help to gently pass the time.

As well as the items you mentioned we also always include juice, soft drinks, bread, butter, jam,coffee, sugar and and a couple of beers .. so no matter what time you arrive you can at least have a drink and relax before bed as well as some breakfast next morning.... thus the shopping for the holiday provisions can wait till you feel refreshed from your journey!

Perfect Accomodation

A lovely Apartment in a nice peacefull part of the town of Orgiva a short walk from the shops and restaurants. I really like the cool shade of the beautfull patio with the option of the sun drenced roof top with breath taking views of the town and serounding country side. the facilities of the apartment were perfect nice kitchen area and the bathroom was very nice and clean. The owners where very helpful in letting us know what was on in the area and nice places to go eat and drink and try to dance. Just one hour from the beach and one hour from the mountin tops perfect for me and i will be going back a.s.a.p cant wait. Thanks for a grate time. Gav
