Located in lovely Greenbush in northeast Michigan, a beautiful 1750 square foot cottage with 3 bedrooms, lovely sun room, and overlooking the scenic 6 mile-long Cedar Lake near the quaint village of Harrisville, MI. It is 10 minutes from Harrisville airport and 15 minutes from Oscoda (KOSC) airport, formerly Wurtsmith AFB. A large lawn leads down to the lake with fire pit and a dock to tie up the boat or jet ski. The home is complete with laundry room, pantry, large kitchen, and comfortable living and dining room. A nearby general store is within 5 minutes with most conveniences and supermarkets are within 15 minutes in Lincoln, Harrisville, and Oscoda. There are several golf courses nearby, including Lakewood Shores, Greenbush, and Springport, all within ten minutes.

The cottage is located on northwest shore of Cedar Lake near the northeast Michigan Lake Huron coastline half way between East Tawas and Alpena in the township of Greenbush. Harrisville is about 5 miles north. Within 5 miles are 4 popular golf courses, including the famous Lakewood Shores, and Blackshire courses. Within 35 minutes are the 30+ miles of Corsair Ski/Hiking trails, Reid Lake and Hoist Lake hiking trails.

How to get here.: From the south, drive up US23 through Oscoda, at Burger King turn left for 1/4 mile to Cedar Lake Rd. Turn right on Cedar Lake Rd and stay on it northbound for about 8 miles to #3415 on the right side of the road. From the north, take US23 southbound through Harrisville to Greenbush, turn left on F30 for one block, then turn left on Cedar Lake Rd for about 3 miles to #3415. From the west, take M72 to Harrisville to the light at US23, turn right then follow the directions from the north. From the east, if coming by boat!, park at the marina in Harrisville.

Groceries/Gas/restaurants: Within 5 minutes drive on US 23 are two convenience stores and a gas station where most of the daily needs can be purchased. In Harrisville and Lincoln, (both within ten minutes) there are supermarkets and eating establishments. The Kris Mart in Lincoln is a small, but very nice supermarket with movie rental. Oscoda, ten minutes south, has a Glen's market, Family Video Rental, several restaurants, and the usual fast food places.

Other Activities: Two miles from Lake Huron public access in Greenbush and only a few minutes away from the famous Lakewood Shores and Blackshire golf courses.

Relaxing Getaway

This Lake House was a great Getaway. It was very nicely decorated and well maintained. The large yard and sitting area down by the lake was a great place to relax and read. The sun room was the perfect place to enjoy my morning cup of coffee. We were very comfortable and the owner was helpful in recommending local resturants for our dinning experiences. All within a short drive of the property. I will recommend this to my friends and family and look forward to returning possibly in the fall. I have already booked for next year!!!! Thanks for a great Getaway!
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

What a Great Experience!

This is a beautiful and wonderfully maintained property. It was exceptionally clean and well decorated. When I entered the "Lake House" I was ecstatic! The large bathrooms and bedrooms offered lots of closet and storage area. This is located in a quiet area with a short distance to Oscoda and Tawas to enjoy great dinning and shopping. I have traveled a dreat deal and this property's owner seems to have the handle on how to make his guests comfortable. I surely will return next year and would highy recommend this property with no hesitation. It was a great week.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
