Driving directions from airport: follow service road to traffic circle. make first right turn off circle onto airport road take this road until it ends at the sea (about 0.6 kilometers). At the sea turn left you are traveling south. Stay on this main road you will pass thru town. Keep going south until you reach the 13km sign look to the right you will see the sign residencias reef. Turn right on service road go left to guard shack. Show conformation for 8210. You will turn right at the circle follow road to parking for building 4 ahead on left. As you face the back side of the building you will see two stairways take the one to the left. Go up two flights of stairs to left you will see 8210. The door is on your right. Paradise in Cozumel

What can we say....
Julie and Joe had done a fantastic job in making you feel right at home. We were convinced we made the right choice even before we left home. The decor and layout of the condo was wonderful. Having our own beach area was very nice and yet we were close enough that we could walk down the beach and mingle with others at the local beach clubs if we wanted to. Not having to wake up early to make sure we had a chair on the beach was a huge plus. We did rent a car which we were very happy we did. It was nice to have when we needed groceries or to go and check out the island activities. We have traveled many places in Mexico but this was by far one of the most relaxing, beautiful and adventurous vacations we have taken. We hope to come back soon!

A Perfect Place in Paradise

I've been to Cozumel many times, but this place is my favorite! Julie and Joe, the owners make it so easy to book. Their kind nature and easy going attitude really get you in the spirit of the island before you ever leave your home.

The condo is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and in cleanest conditition. The kitchen is perfect for a night in, but it's just as easy to purchase all inclusive from the nearby resort if you want to party.

If you like to SCUBA, the condo also comes equipped with a dive tank to clean off those nasty amoebas after a day on the reef.

Overall, there is no finer place in Cozumel than this condo . . .one trip will keep you coming back. I know I have!

Truly Our Home Away from Home!

We stayed at Julie & Joe's condo for a month from January 12, 2009 - February 11, 2009. It was the best and most relaxing vacation we've every had! The condo was spacious and well equipped, and decorated very nicely. The pools were great and the beach was beautiful. We found many conch shells in the water among the rocks, but don't expect them to look like the ones you can buy in the store! You have to bleach them, and they're not very pretty coming right out of the water (we didn't care - we had so much fun looking for them!)
Although we're not scuba divers (yet!), we talked to many expert divers who said there is no better place to dive. There is a pier right on the property where you can be picked up for diving or snorkeling trips.
Because we stayed so long, we regret not renting a car. We went grocery shopping in town many times and the taxi ride was about $40 each way after we added tips. You can get meals at the resort right next door, so if only staying a week you could definitely get by without a car. Carlos & Charlies is less than a 5-minute walk down the beach and you can get food, drink, and entertainment there.
The people are friendly and there is virtually no crime on the island.
We would definitely go back again and again!

Best place to stay on Cozumel!

If you're looking for a clean, quiet, spacious place, with a great view, I highly recommend this reasonably priced 1 BR condo. It's a $12-$15 taxi ride to the heart of San Miguel, where Cozumel offers most of its restaurants, street vendors,and seemingly endless shops. This location is close enough to the action, but oh so far away! Our condo was clean and offered all of the ameneties, with its full kitchen, hot tub on the balcony, and wonderful, breezy views of the pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. We've been going to Cozumel since 1992, and this is by far our favorite place to stay!

The grounds were immaculate, and the lizards were plenty. The local gringos at Recidencias Reef seemed to be from the US and Canada and everyone I met was friendly and kind (go figure...they own property in paradise).

I highly recommend this property and Recidencias Reef, in general. Julie and Joe, the current owners, have paid attention to the details. We were so relaxed and comfortable during our stay. We'll definitely be back!!!
