This adorable 4 bedroom beach cottage is a Sandbridge Virginia treasure! Let the Cape House surround you with her warm, cozy ambiance complete with tasteful furnishings and pretty Pergo hardwood floors. We know you'll feel right at home on your dream vacation. Your whole family will enjoy all the quality time playing in the swimming pool which is open during summer months only. There is also a beautiful grape arbor, wild blackberries and a newly planted herb garden, all to be enjoyed. Best of all, you're just a short stroll (down Rock Lane) to a beautiful non-bulk headed (unobstructed), sandy beach. Linens and towels are not included in rental, however there are local companies who are able to provide this service for a small fee.

Sandbridge beach is located just south of Virginia Beach proper. While you'll have easy access (15 minutes by car) to all that Virginia Beach offers (boardwalk, rides, Virginia Marine Science Museum, water parks, and much more) you'll be able to return to Sandbridge and enjoy the peace and quiet it offers. Beaches are rarely crowded and the traffic is minimal. Very close proximity to False Cape State park which offers tram rides and guided tours. A wonderful area for a family or friends vacations.

This is a Great House !!!

This home is very well maintained, and cozy. The owners have made every attempt to insure you have a great getaway. 2 minute walk to the beach, great pool area, basketball court. I have stayed in many houses at sandbridge, and this experience was by far the best. I really can’t say anything bad about it.

Quaint Beach Cottage!

We stayed at the house over Easter weekend and were pleased with everything. The accomodations were comfortable and the place tastefully decorated. We found the kitchen fully-stocked and enjoyed the grill as well. I would recommend this home to anyone with a small family. We would love to visit again soon!

Exactly What Is Showed

If you and your family are looking for a place where you can enjoy the beach or just relax by the pool, Cape House is the place. As noted it's not a multiplex unit where you don't know if someone will vacation above or below you. This single family home is one of it's kind located less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and less than a 7 minute drive for shopping. And if you would like the Atlantic Ave scene...a 20 minute drive to the night life and beaches.

This home is very well equipped...everything you'd need as if you were staying in your own home. A charming host...Alison will accommondate all your needs while staying in her place. Cape House is the only home-a-way from home that will be our choice for future vacations at Virginia Beach.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and this house was just perfect. It was clean, and beautifully decorated. In addition, the house is just a quick walk to the beach. The homeowner was also very friendly and helpful, which added to the very positive experience. I would recommend this house to anyone!

Wonderful Vacation Home!

My family visited Sandbridge in 2008 for the first time and had a wonderful time. Everthing was a positive experience for us all! Cape Cod is a wonderful place to stay! The home is very clean, well maintained and a great place to stay! The pool is great and the beach is really just a few steps away! I have young children and it was a great place for them as well! The owner provides great customer service to renters! We will be coming back to stay at this home for years to come! I highly recommend renting this home!!
