This apartment has a welcoming feel to it. Nicely decorated, well appointed & clean, it feels like home from home. 2 good size bedrooms and bathrooms with a practical kitchen makes staying here easy. Great view to Mijas and the mountains and also a view down onto the golf course below, which gave us endless entertainment watching the golfers throwing their clubs down in disgust at their last shot! Birdlife abounds with Pallid Swifts & Red Rumped Swallows as well as more familiar House Martins and Swallows fly within touching distance from the balcony. Below the balcony, along the edge of the golf course Sardinian Warblers rattle,Serins & Goldfinches tinkle and to see a Booted Eagle sail past at eye level 50yds out was pure magic.
The balcony is a good size and just right for an evening glass of wine but loses the sun after late morning (at least in June) though the pool is any easy stroll away.
It has to be acknowledged that it is some way up the hill from the coast and a car is essential. The nearest facilities we could find were about three quarters of a mile away with a long climb on the way back. The gradient down the drive through the security gate takes one by suprise at first but becomes part of the fun by day 2. I have stayed in more expensive apartments that don't have lifts, as this one does, making getting your luggage to and from the car park, easy peezy.
Security is always a concern, but we felt quite secure here, all the patio doors are shuttered and windows barred but if we had one suggestion for the owners it would be to install a small safe.
All in all very good value for money and we'd happily stay here again.Dave & Karen
