My husband and I spent a weekend at LaurelWood recently and were thrilled with the experience. The solitude and quiet were exactly what we were looking for, and the stars are amazing at night. Even the rain was soothing.

Comfort is everywhere, from cozy throws to ward off chills, to a sofa perfect for napping, to paired easy chairs in every room, perfect for reading, playing a game, or looking at the leaves. We especially enjoyed the porch, where cookies magically appeared.

If you want to get to know your partner (for the first time or all over again) in a peaceful, pampering setting, this is the perfect place.
