Overlooking Truro dunes, sunlit airy beach house with panoramic views of Cape Cod Bay. Sheltered and kept private on one side by giant white oaks. On the waterside, indigenous pine, shad-bush and beach plum patch together a landscape of ever changing color against big skies and sea, Provincetown and the Pilgrim monument. Well-equipped kitchen and dining and living areas with fireplace and deck are on the upper level. Play the black-ebony piano at the center of this great room or pull something to read from one of the many bookshelves—there's also an HDTV, iMac computer and Nespresso machine. Four bedrooms—two queen with water views, one king (or two twin) with deck access, one bunk room—& two baths are on main level as you enter from the wrap-around deck. Children are welcome—a crib is available plus a large selection of beach toys. Pick wild blueberries for your breakfast. Stay in touch via high-speed wireless Internet. It's a short walk down our quiet road to private Tru-Haven beach.

Excellent house - great location - water views - sunsets - easy access to ocean and bay beaches and bike trails. Proximity to Provincetown and Wellfleet a plus. House well supplied with basics.

Wonderful house with top quality amenities

The house is simple, but the amenities were what set it apart. Wickedly comfortable beds and linens, a fantastic piano and HDTV and stereo system, giant Mac computer, unbelievable espresso/cappuccino machine which the owner stocks for your vacation with your favorite style of brew, toys galore for kids (and a red wagon for driving them to the beach...our kids loves that), excellent cooking equipment, outdoor shower, tons of blueberry bushes around the house (if you go in July/August you'll make lots of pies), and a super friendly owner who is honest and genuinely concerned that you enjoy your stay. A great house.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Thanks, Beacon, NY — I'm delighted the new Nespresso machine and iMac contributed to a happy stay. Over the last couple of years, upgrades have also included the new gas stove & stainless outdoor gas grill, teak dining furniture on the upper deck and finally, enclosure of the outdoor shower.
