Centrally located; 2 blocks or a 2 minute walk to the Sundial and beautiful downtown Carefree with all its boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants. Enjoy life in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, at an elevation of 2,500 feet and surrounded by mountains, Carefree is at least five degrees cooler than the Valley of the Sun and a few miles removed from the hustle of the big cities. Known more as a resort/residential area, Carefree is a relatively new town, it was settled in the 1950's and has its own private airport, Sky Ranch at Carefree. The famous giant sundial has been attracting people to Carefree since 1959. It is the third largest working sundial in the Western hemisphere. Carefree is just north of Scottsdale with its world class shopping and dining, and neighbors historic Cave Creek and its Wild West cowboy atmosphere. The Cave Creek Recreation Area is minutes away and offers over 11 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.

Beadle Design: The condo interior was designed by world renowned architect Alfred Newman Beadle V. His interior design brings a spiritual, social and romantic feel that gives the condo a happy feeling! It was the last design job Beadle did before his death in 2001, making it one of the most unique places to stay in the Carefree area. The condo also features modern art work from local area artists. A guide book for out guests features local restaurants, hiking, horseback riding, Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin West School of Art, day trips and local activities.

Carefree great location: Carefree is just north of Scottsdale with its world class shopping and dining, and neighbors historic Cave Creek and its Wild West cowboy atmosphere. The Cave Creek Recreation Area is minutes away and offers over 11 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The Sky Harbor International Airport is 40 miles from Carefree. Nearby are 16 golf courses within 5 miles of Carefree including the Desert Mountain courses, Troon North, Rancho Manana Golf Club, Desert Forest Golf Club and the Boulders Resort Golf Club. Carefree is about 60 miles from Sedona, AZ.

What a great place to relax and enjoy the Arizona sunshine! The townhome is very well appointed and the grounds are beautiful.The owners are so easy to work with and extremely generous. The location is unbeatable. Everything you need is with in walking distance.Wonderful!

A Real Winner

If you’re looking for a comfortable upscale property, this is it. Actually, the photos don’t do it justice. The owners are gems and go overboard to accommodate. Location is great – close to restaurants, shopping and personal services. Some are a block away. If you’re new to the area, the owners have put together a book of attractions, restaurants, maps, etc. And they even share with guests a membership/passes to Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and studio, Taliesin West. A must to see. We rented for a month and would certainly do it again. You can't go wrong here.
