Best beach vacation we have ever had!!

I can't say enough great things about this beautiful home. The pictures only tell a fraction of the story of how wonderful this place is. The location cannot be beat. It is literally steps from the beach and swimable lake in an area that is fairly secluded from the larger beach crowds. It feels like you have the beach to yourself.
I went with my family in August and it was nice to be so close to the beach and a short walk to town (less than 1/2 mile). We never had to use our car. My kids enjoyed both parks that were walkable on both sides of us.
The house was immaculate and had every amenity you could think of - and thensome. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the time with our kids. The house had plenty of room and the two outdoor deck areas were great for the kids to be out on and for us to eat meals outside. We were also able to use all of the beach items they had at the house (chairs, boogey boards, life jackets, toys, towels etc). We didn't need to bring anything except clothes and food. It made packing for the trip much easier.
The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. They met us there and gave us a tour of the house with details on how to use everything. They provided some helpful insights about the town and things we might be interested in near the house and in town. The owners left us a gift basket with local chocolates that all of us loved as well as magazines about the town and things to do.
Everything about this place (the house, the cleanliness, the location, the amenities etc) exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in St. Joe and specifically our time at this beautiful house. I highly recommend you stay here. You will not be disappointed.
