NEW LISTING... Immaculate NEWLY BUILT 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach house right on 2 miles of sandy beach on the Caribbean ocean. Excellent Bonefishing and snorkeling right out your front door. Beach House Villa is located on a privately owned peninsula with a turtle preserve (which cannot be built on) as it's neighbor to the east. If you like to get away from it all and relax on a romantic beach while finding seashells and sponges, this villa is for you. Villa is 2,000 sq ft (1,000 each level). Each level contains it's own bedroom, screened lanai, kitchen area and living/entertainment area. Tiled throughout with a vaulted ceiling on the upper level. Sit out on the lanai to eat your dinner while watching the spectacular sunset. House is impeccable. Ceramic tile throughout. A deck surrounds three sides of the villa's upper floor. Fresh water in the villa. An SUV is available for rental with the beach house. Bikes and a grill are also available upon request.

Salt Pond is the annual site of the Long Island regatta. The villa is located on a privately held peninsula just north of Salt Pond. In Salt Pond you will find well stocked grocery stores, a local restaurant, gift shop, dive shop, cave tour, video and DVD rentals, gas station. Further to the south there is a museum and library, Deans Blue hole, and historic churches. To the north there are gourmet restaurants, a local clinic with emergency helicopter, and the Columbus monument. We do have an SUV available. Long Island is 'the prettiest island' of the Bahamas. It is perfect for families. The island is a divers paradise. On the west side of the island are calm beautiful endless beaches of the Caribbean Sea (you will find our villa here on the west side). On the east side, you will find rocky shorelines on high cliff's and windy breezes from the Atlantic Ocean where waves crash against sharp cliffs. Go to our website for more information

Clean and comfortable - great location

This property is centrally located in Long Island, which makes it the perfect spot. The view from the porch is spectacular. The place is clean and quiet and offers most amenities you will need. Kitchen could have a few more items, such as a cutting board, however overall we were very satisfied.
Owner's Response: This house is new so I am gradually bringing stuff down to Long Island. I purchased a new cutting board and will bring it down the next time I come. New furniture, an SUV car, a new grill, new silverware for the upstairs apartment, new shelves for upstairs, new wicker lanai set for upstairs, new coffee and end tables have also just been purchased and just arrived last week to the house.
