Great location

I just returned after staying at this rental - it is in a great location and has great views of the lake. Especially from the porches. It has cute decor, and most of the amenities you would need. However, we were told there was a washer and dryer - when we got there, we found that there were neither. This would have been a deal breaker for us with renting the place. The description on the web page was never updated. This was an inconvenience, as we had planned on doing laundry during the week so we did not pack as much. Also, we had issues with the showers and not having any water pressure. However, we had someone there within the same day to fix it. The owner apparently lived right next door, but it took us a bit to get in contact with someone. The kitchen could stand to be updated - and overall there could be be some things that would make it a bit nicer - just some more thorough cleaning would even help. Overall though, it is a nice place - can't beat the views! Very close to the lake and pier, so very convenient!!

Great Family Vacation Memories

We were frantically searching for a house to rent 2 summers ago in the Manitowish Area. We were pleased to find this home. Beautiful lakefront property. Very large and can accommodate many. Front porch nice for entertaining or just watching the kids fish or swim. Very, very, clean. Front bedroom had a balcony that was stunning to watch the sunset from. Plenty of linens and bedding for all and even extras. Cute deor in bathrooms and living/dining area. Great TV for staying in on rainy night to watch a DVD. Kitchen needs a little updating, no microwave. Met owner, very friendly. Washing machine broke the second day we were there. No one came to repair or replace even though we found out the owner was just next door the whole time. We all had a great time, would consider staying again.
