Ocean Beach holiday house

When my boyfriend and I wanted to take a trip to San Diego, we wanted to stay somewhere that was a little off the beaten path and had privacy and charm, but was close enough to all the sights and attractions of the area. We were also not interested in staying in a random hotel that would charge us for parking(as many seem to do these days). Everything about this experience was a joy. The property manager was sweet, conscientious, and great about answering all my questions. She clearly explained how the deposit process worked, sent me all the paperwork and information we needed in a timely fashion, and made us feel immediately comfortable about doing business with her. The cottages themselves were a very easy driving distance from the San Diego airport and downtown San Diego. The area of Ocean Beach is fun, funky, and very laid back. The cottages were set on a nice little residential street, and were clean, comfortable, and adorable. The cottage we were in could technically sleep more than two, but two was the perfect number for the size of the space. All the features that the cottage offered, such as internet access, garage parking, cable TV, and a fully stocked kitchen, were as promised. We were a nice 15 minute walk to the beach, and even closer to restaurants, groceries, and other conveniences such as banks and drug stores. We went during the "off season" which reduced our price for a week's stay considerably, and considering the privacy, the amenities, and the location- it was a great deal!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very charming, just the right size for the two of us. We were able to walk to the beaches and Farmer's Market, which was great!! We found some great little places to eat and were close to the freeway and all the attractions. The only drawback is the parking. The garage is only for compact vehicles and there is scare parking on the street. But overall, we loved it and will definently be back!!

Reserved a week at the cottage, Adrian was very accommodating! Definately need to reserve a garage, very loud busy street with Buses. Nice clean property for no more than 2 people very small. Enjoyed the area, love the beaches. 1 1/2 blocks to the cliffs over looking the ocean, no beach. I rent alot of vacation homes and this was O.K.
