Our three bedroom villa is situated on Fairway Oaks at Hudson, a residential area on the West (Gulf Coast) of Florida. Using the Sun Coast Parkway it is an easy 35 minute drive from Tampa airport. The villa is ideally suited as a holiday home with access to the best of Florida's Gulf Coast; the renowned white, sandy beaches are within easy reach as are the cities of Tampa, Clearwater, St Petersburg and Homosassa Springs for the manatees. The rear of the villa faces West and the pool area benefits from the sun from mid morning until late into the evening. The pool deck area overlooks the 15th tee of the 'The Links' golf course providing entertainment on most days. The golf course is open to the public and fees are very reasonable. There are numerous other Golf Courses in the area. High speed wireless Internet access available. Free phone calls within the USA and Canada.

Golf, beaches, boating, fishing, shopping; this area has it all. Golf is on the doorstep; the villa overlooks the 15th tee! The villa is in close proximity to the renowned beaches of Florida's Gulf Coast. The nearest beach is about ten minutes away and there is an abundant choice of beaches (Honeymoon Island, Fred Howard Park, Clearwater) within about a 30 minute drive. For something different Busch Gardens with its white knuckle roller coaster rides and animal park is 45 minutes away, as is Adventure Island water park. Tampa and St Petersburg also make for a good afternoon out. Tarpon Springs with its sponge docks and Homosassa Springs with the manatees are close by. Ruth Eckerd theatre at Tampa hosts many touring shows.

Notes: The pool area has the traditional Floridian cage to keep the bugs and some of the heat out. Solar panels heat the pool and allow it to be used for the greater part of the year. There is a shaded area and seating for six for 'al fresco' dining. The pool area faces west and has the sun from late morning until sunset. The lounge overlooks the pool area and has comfortable seating for six, cable television and dvd player. In addition, there is a formal dining area with six place settings. The kitchen area has all the appliances and utensils you will need and there is a dishwasher. The kitchen also has a breakfast seating area. The villa is fully air conditioned. Shops are 5 minutes away (Publix) and the nearest mall about 15 minutes away.

If golf is not your scene there are plenty of beaches; the Beaches on the Gulf Coast of Florida are noted for their white sand and are highly rated; the sea is pleasantly warm in summer. Shops and other attractions are in the local area. Eating is no problem as the villa has a fully equipped kitchen. Should you want to eat out there is plenty of choice in the vicinity. The closest shops are a 15-minute walk or a five-minute drive away.

Tampa international airport is a 35-minute drive; Orlando Airport is a 2-hour drive, with the Disney, Universal and Sea World area about 90 minutes. Busch Gardens with its roller coasters and animal park is 45 minutes away. The villa is non smoking and pets are not permitted.

Beautiful Villa

My family & I just rented this beautiful villa from Ann & Brian. We are all so in love with the villa! The villa is more beautiful in person! As soon as you walk into the villa, it is very breath taking. The villa is very clean & very well maintained! The rooms are pretty spacious and have nice size closets! We loved the pool that is also very clean & well maintained! Ann & Brian also left us a very detailed pamphlet & information on the villa. That pamphlet was so helpful throughout our stay. Besides the villa being so beautiful, so is Ann & Brian. They were great from before and after the rental period! They are two awesome people that we are so happy to have rented from! Their customer service & communication was A+++. We definitely recommend our family & friends to rent this villa. We also look forward to renting from Ann & Brian in the near future. Thank you Ann & Brian for making our vacation stay a beautiful one!

Such a relaxing place

My husband and I have visited your villa a number of times. We have always found it to be clean, spacious and well equipped, and a bolthole away from the real world. Perfectly located for a (long, but definately achievable) day trip to orlando, it also offers a fantastic base to discover Florida's gulf coast.

The directions to the villa are straightforward to follow, and after a long flight, much appreciated.

We most recently visited over Christmas, and enjoyed swimming in the heated pool on Christmas day, and watching the golfers tee off. We also found plenty of fantastic shopping, and some slightly more cultural experiences such as the Dali Museum, the Florida Aquarium and the Holocaust Museum. The most recent renovations have made the villa even better (HD TV especially appreciated).

Brian and Ann have a beautiful home, perfect for vacations, and it is always a pleasure to stay there. I would wholeheartedly recommend the property to anyone else wishing to stay in the area. We have thoroughly enjoyed every visit, and look forward to returning again soon.

Perfect, Perfect

I was very happy and pleased. Brian and Ann have a very lovely home. I was welcomed with a care package upon my arrival. It is absolutely the perfect home to vacation in. I recommend this home to all. Thank-you Ann and Brian for allowing myself and my family to spend the holidays in Hudson. The wildlife is also a big plus. Suzy (WV)
